  Did they mention the placement of your placenta? Anterior? Posterior?

  Once your doctor assured you baby was okay did you ask them why you might not be able to feel the baby move? Your doctor will likely have more insight as to your situation.

  I haven't felt my baby much. I have an anterior placenta, which means it is cushioning the front of my uterus where i would otherwise be able to feel kicks the easiest. I do occasionally feel movement really low down, below my placenta, but i don't know if I wound recognize it if this was my first time being this far along in a pregnancy (I'm not sure if that is the case for you). You definitely should ask your doctor about it though. There is probably an innocuous explanation like mine if baby is active on ultrasounds.
