  • I have bad luck with Lexus car drivers....they can't seem to drive. A Lexus just pulled up to look at the house for sale next door....just no...lol. Every car that has attempted to HIT me in the past 4 years....has been a LEXUS!!

@jessafishy I admit to being guilty of saying things like "I'm a Leo" with all that entails and being 100% sincere.

My UO is I don't want a "themed" nursery. I just want to decorate it with pretty colors, but literally all of my friends have a specific theme like "jungle"  or "whales." Super cute but just a teensy bit cheesy to me...

    eta for grammar

  • My UO is that I get so annoyed when people make comments bc my DS likes My Little Pony, baby dolls, princess puzzles, etc...He likes other things too, but I don't like how people label pink or certain toys as for "girls" only. There is nothing wrong with my 3yr old boy liking these things too. Who decided they should be gender specific.
I have written articles on my son playing with dolls! For Christmas this year he asked for a redhead 18in doll, jeep, hair salon chair, scooter, and a dolly that looked like him. I took two hours and turned a 18in girl in to a boy doll and he loves it, he chose to take him with him to his ear tube surgery too! He also has an anatomically correct dolly. He did ask for a nerf gun and loves his legos but I can't wait to see him be a big brother. He is so nurturing! He also has 2 barbies for the bathtub that have painted on swim suits!

  • @ShakeUpTampa Those are definitely not the kind of people who get past my friendship filters, that's for sure.

  • @jessafishy I love the bingo! Exciting stuff
  • @jessafishy  @blujeanbaby29  My fellow Leos!!!!

My UO is that I hate when people in my moms FB group as "Should I take my child to the ER?/Should I call the Dr?" You are a parent, you should know if it's bad enough to call. Take care of your damn child!

Also - I don't like marshmallow or gummy things. There I said it.  :D

  • My UO: these threads are giving me agita. Why do we need one for spotting and one for "blood discharge" and also one for symptoms?

This is likely because I'm a virgo and thrive on organization. Not trying to be a beast or anything..
    I agree. I prefer organization.

  • ^^I'm also thinking i just hate the word discharge so seeing that word is just going to set off all my alarms

  • Discharge is much more nice than bloody show  ;) We are going to hear a lot of things and see a lot of things and hopefully most people can remain respectful even if something does not apply to them or is UO because that is what grown adults do!

I could do without the live birth videos and vagina shots of friends on facebook who are very in to natural births and water births, there is such a thing as a tasteful photo and a , hey...there are people her who barely hang out with you lol. Yet , I will defend public breastfeeding until the day I die. People who are prude on BFing really bother me, more so when they are negative to mothers who are doing so.

@Dinosaur Just in case your babe turns out to be a girl (and just for all the girl moms out there), there is this online shop called Princess Awesome and they have some pretty cool dresses for girls. They are a little pricey, but I'm here for the rocket ship and dinosaur dresses! I just bought my daughter and niece dresses yesterday. I hope they come out with pants or other articles of clothing with the prints because I'm not one to put her in dresses hardly ever.

Fyi... I have no affiliation with the shop. Just happened to see a link one day and was happy I did.
    Thanks!!!  :D
  • @Crystal7perry I freaking love snow (and winter). Toronto never has snow stay on the ground for more than a week it seems and it makes me sad.

  • My UO: Sometimes (most of the time) I prefer The Bump App, versus the website. I mostly use the app on my phone, so when I actually get on the computer everything seems confusing and cluttered.

  •  @Crystal7perry I don't mind the snow itself, but I hate how everyone seemingly forgets how to drive as soon as snow falls. Makes my commute a nightmare!

My UO is I hate kale! Everyone seems so obsessed with it but grass would taste better I'm sure :D

  • I disagree. Spotting and bleeding is scary stuff for most women. I don't mind separate posts so I can be sure to give my support to that momma.  Something like that buried in symptom thread may not get as much support.  I just think it's vastly different then nausea and what you're craving.
I agree bleeding and spotting is scary however, i don't see a difference between "blood discharge" and spotting. They're literally the same thing. Perhaps different than the usual pregnancy symptoms but they're also very common pregnancy symptoms. But you disagreeing with me is exactly the point of UO, right?

Side note: my first was a June-15-er as well! We're on the same timeline haha :)
  • @EmEeGee Oh my god. I need their trains dress in an adult size!

  • @Crystal7perry I'm in Eastern Canada, too!  We're supposed to be getting another on Sunday!
