I have an an appointment Friday. They're calling it a tummy check. Anyone know what that is? They had mentioned once I get further along, they'll measure my fundal height, but I'm guessing all they'll do this time is listen to baby's heartbeat. It may be interesting because the doctor I have an appointment with graduated high school with my husband.
I had NT scan today and everything looked good from what I can see. Results should be in within the week. I haven't told my family yet so I'll need to figure out how I'll do it
We had our second appointment with the doctor today. I'm currently 14w2d. We didn't get to hear the heartbeat at the first ultrasound due to not being far enough along, but we were able to, today. It was between 150 and 160 so doctor said everything looked good. My only concern was that I'm measuring at 16 weeks, and there are twins EVERYWHERE on both my and my husband's sides of the family. We have our first ultrasound on the 20th.
Had my second appointment today so it was just a regular checkup since we did the dating ultrasound last month. Heartbeat was 150 so that was good to hear. It still seems so surreal to me!
I had my NT Scan/last appointment with the Fertility Clinic. All was good with the scan so not anticipating a high risk factor to come back after the blood work. The U/S tech kept saying he/she was such a good baby, very cooperative. Hoping that's a true personality trait for the LO hehe. I have to get moved over to MFM/OB now from my midwife so not sure when my next appt is but should be later this month.

Had my third appt Tuesday! Doctor said everything looks good. Heartbeat was 154. She said my blood pressure was perfect, which I was nervous about because last time it was a little high. I've lost 11 lbs since getting pregnant. Doc told me to monitor that closely, and since I'm entering the second trimester today that I should be starting to gain weight. she said if I haven't gained a little weight in the next coulpe weeks that I need to start drinking an ensure daily.
Had my appointment today! Everything looked fantastic. I still haven't gained any weight, which is awesome! My DH's carrier screen finally came back completely negative, and I was able to schedule my Anatomy Scan!!!!!! Also, I can not remember who asked about my glucose test, but I think it was either someone in PGAL or the Tuesday ticker change. Well I didnt have to take it today! We are in the middle of a huge snow storm, so they said waiting around for an hour or so was not the best idea, so I can come back whenever. They apparently do it early at my hospital because its a big hospital, so its easier. They said, in regards to the 3 hr test, I am not required (like they said before) to take it no matter what. That was some big misunderstanding.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
@littlebug2010 That's so great your husband's carrier screen came back negative!! I remember you being concerned about that. What a relief. I scheduled my anatomy scan too last week.. can't believe we're already a third of the way!
Let's just say today's appointment was not what I was expecting. Did not know that I was going to have a Pap smear and to make it even better the doctor performing it graduated high school with my husband. At least DH wasn't there today to witness that. I have white coat syndrome and my blood pressure is always high at the doctors, so now I get the fun task of taking it at home so they can see what my at home blood pressure is. I get that high blood pressure can be a real thing in pregnancy, but I'm fairly certain it's only high because of white coat syndrome. At least baby's heartbeat is good!
