How many months have you been TTC: We've been not trying but not [responsibly] preventing since I got off BCPs last April, but this month will be the first cycle we really actively try.
What are you doing to get knocked up: Right now I'm just taking PNVs and tracking my cycle (which I obsessively "confirmed" last month with an ovulation kit). I also went in for a preconception check up and in general I'm trying to stay healthy and active despite how much the winter makes me want to just lay under blankets and eat junk.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I live in NYC with my husband and work in marketing. We have no pets and no kids, but I hope to change that soon. I spend my free time with family and friends more than I occupy it with hobbies, although I did take up knitting somewhat recently. I am a type A stress case in general, so the unpredictability of this baby thing has been a big trigger for me and I am obsessed to a degree that I'm finding...troubling, so that's how I ended up here. I know it might be a little early for me to post and I hope I haven't offended anyone by doing so. I probably won't chime in much just yet, but wanted to say hi and that I'm here lurking around, rooting for all of you, and learning a lot from your posts.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc. Hi, I'm new. I have been lurking and I'm going to try my best to follow the rules. I'm most nervous about forgetting to use trigger warnings. My husband and I eloped in December and I got my nexplanon implant removed January 6th. After a couple of weeks without getting a period I got some OPKs and started testing because I hated not knowing where I was in my cycle. I finally got a positive test last week! I'm a nerd and I love learning more about the biology aspect of TTC, but the TTW is killing me. I'm not a patient person! I have a young stepson that I adore and we want to make him a little sister or brotber! I'm excited to get to know all of you!

Ages: I'm 29 (30 next month) and DH is 31.
Months TTC: Currently TTA.
What I'm doing: TTA, but temping (or trying) to do so. I hope to be TTC again in the next year or so, but we need to get DH's job situation settled first, and I want to figure out my PP cycles before I begin trying.
About me: I was a member here a few years back while TTC DD. I did the whole "do this naturally, have fun" for a few months without getting pregnant, and the first month I actually temped, was my BFP. So I am a firm believer in temping. I'm looking to get some answers/advice/support while figuring out my cycles while still BF'ing and will eventually jump in to the WTO/TWW threads once we are actually trying (hopefully this fall).
Hi there! I did my first post/intro on the TFAS thread, but thought I should officially introduce myself here. I've been lurking for a while, and though I can't participate in WTO and TWW yet I hope to contribute where I can. And please let me know if I don't follow any of the rules, I think I've got a good sense of them from lurking but am still learning!
Ages (you and SO): I'm 30, DH is 31.
How many months have you been TTC? None so far, benched for now until AF shows up again, . Mainly WTO, DS is 11 months old and I'm just waiting on my first AF PP, with BF reducing I'm hoping it will be in the next month or so.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Tracking CM, temping (but struggling with consistency), BD.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DS is 11 months old. We live in Washington, D.C., but are hoping to move closer to family in the next year, we'll see how it works out with our jobs. I don't have much time for hobbies, though I wish I did. I enjoy reading, I usually go for whatever the bestsellers happen to be at the moment but also like the thrillers/crime mysteries (like David Baldacci, James Patterson) and secretly love epic fantasy (Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss). Always looking to discover a new book or author! I'd like to start running or working out, or somehow being more active since I sit at a desk all day. I'm generally working on being healthier, but I love my cheese, wine, coffee, and cupcakes (there are so many great cupcake places in D.C.!).

What I'm doing: Charting and using ovulation kit
About me: DS is 2.5 years old. We live in Lexington, KY. We lost our second at 6 weeks this past July. Since then I have been charting my cycle. I tried temping but was never consistent enough. Broke down and bought an ovulation kit to see how close my charts were and I am spot on with a 31 day cycle. Tomorrow is day 0. **fingers crossed** I have been in a fog since the loss this summer. I am looking for a place to talk about TTC since most of my friends are done having kids!

We have a beautiful 1 1/2 year old daughter, she is amazing and hilarious. I'm a SAHM and love every minute. I love to bake and watch movies. We have 2 dogs Murdock and Marley

Husband is a firefighter/paramedic and I work at a credit union. We love to travel, we were just on vacation last week and I'm ready for another!

Hubby and I are both 32. We are literally just starting TTC. Because I have been on bc since 2011, we will just start with my getting off of it and see how it goes for a couple of months. We have three kiddos already who are 13, 10, and 6.
