    How far along are you? 24 weeks!

    How big is baby? Cantaloupe or eggplant

    Appointment updates? nope

    Any new symptoms or changes?  The RLP this week has been uuuuunreal.  Baby is really growing and my appetite is chugging right along with it.  

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm really annoyed with my OB office and OB in general.  Every time I have an appointment they are running at least an hour behind.  I totally understand once and awhile, but EVERY TIME?!  And my appointments are early in the morning.  

    GTKY: Let's brag on ourselves this week!  What is your favorite thing about yourself?  I love my curly hair (that I hated growing up).  Also I like to think I'm a good and loving mom, which is what I'm definitely most proud of :)

    How far along are you? 21 weeks

    How big is baby? Least weasel, or bok choy

    Appointment updates? Monday's anatomy scan went well (yay!) but I will be needing growth scans to make sure this little guy keeps growing properly

    Any new symptoms or changes? Definitely feeling more movement - I have an anterior placenta, so wasn't sure if I was going to need to wait longer for it than I did with DD

    Rants/Raves/Questions? I've griped about this elsewhere, but it looks like I may need a root canal. Have been in a decent amount of pain after getting some cavities filled 2 weeks ago, and not being able to take excessive amounts of Advil has been tough. 

    GTKY: Let's brag on ourselves this week!  What is your favorite thing about yourself?     Excellent GTKY, @CurlyMommy416. I like that I'm a problem solver - if something isn't right, I'm much more likely to try to fix it than either complain or wait for someone else to do it. It's become something that I'm known for at work, and it's fun to watch DD start to do it on her own too (example: I offered a choice of uncooked pasta shapes to make for her lunch and she kept saying she wanted both. After I explained that wasn't possible since they needed to cook different lengths of time, she decided to pick one, and have the other one tomorrow.)

    She is as long as a Barbie. 

    Appointment updates?
    I have a follow up anatomy scan and OB appointment tomorrow. 

    Any new symptoms or changes?  
    I can see her moving from the outside on occasion.

    I'm home sick with a sinus infection today. Sickness sucks, but even more so when your medicine options are limited.

    I hate complimenting myself, but I'm proud of my wit and sense of humor.

    @swanbrooner As someone who gets a ton of sinus infections (deviated septum makes me more prone to them), I totally feel your pain! My ob said saline spray or a neti pot (using bottled/purified water) were decent options. Feel better!

    How far along are you? 24 weeks

    How big is baby? Ear of corn! 

    Appointment updates? Had my 24 week appointment and everything looks perfect. Measuring right on 24 weeks and HR was 138. Will meet with perinatologist after 28 week appointment. 

    Any new symptoms or changes?  I'm feeling restless in general, blaming it on hormones. I'm usually pretty easy going, but I'm feeling like I could burn someone with my laser beam eye balls the past few days from the hormonal thoughts raging through my head.  :#

    I'm thankful I love to host and bring people together. I'm a gatherer and enjoy seeing my people all in one place, eating, drinking and being happy.

    How far along are you?

    I've totally missed the Thursday thread the past few weeks. 22 weeks!

    How big is baby? 

    A coconut. 

    Appointment updates?

    I had my monthly check up today. Baby sounds good and was moving all over.

    Any new symptoms or changes?  

    I have been getting winded so easily. I was vacuuming today and it was tough. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?

    I know I'm pregnant and weight gain is inevitable but I feel like mine came on so quick. I had not gained anything and the last two months I've gained 15 lbs. 
    I side eyed the doctors scale because it was 5 lbs higher than my home one today.

    I like my sense of humor. And my resiliency. I can always look forward past a tough situation.

    Not one to usually think about this, but I guess my determination...some may interpret it as sheer stubbornness, but I tend to get things done without bitching and complaining about it all. It's interesting to see some of this quality come out in my kiddo too...

    Any new symptoms or changes?  I'm back to nausea and for the past two nights have had horrible gas pains.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Raving on my SIL!  She is giving me so much baby stuff we hardly have to buy anything.  So we can really go all out on what we need.
