15 weeks

How big is baby?
Navel orange

Upcoming appointments this week?

Friday for something called a tummy check. Assuming it's just checking heartbeat of baby. Might be awkward since my OB graduated high school with DH

Any new symptoms or changes?
less nausea. I'll go 2-3 days without puking now. Also getting hungrier throughout the day

Loving my prenatal fitness class! It was really nice to see a couple women at the same stage as me and some of them also FTMs.

My KitchenAid mixer! Love it!

We are finding out what we are having this weekend! Going to an elective ultrasound place

Any new symptoms or changes?
More headaches and nausea. Still tired. Still kind of feeling like the first trimester over here!

Just excited to have our gender reveal party this weekend! We're only having immediate family over but I cannot wait to find out what we are having! Ahhhhh

14 weeks! Officially in the second trimester.

How big is baby?
Navel orange, peach or kiwi depending on app

Upcoming appointments this week?
Had an ultrasound yesterday due to spotting. Baby looked good! Monthly checkup on Friday

Any new symptoms or changes?
Some spotting w/ cramping but it appears to have gone away. My face looks like I am going through puberty again.

Kitchen aid! I keep asking for an extra bowl, the scraping blade and pasta attachments.

Upcoming appointments this week? no doc appts until next week to check my cervix because they want to double check something with it nurse said

Nope!

Any new symptoms or changes? Thank the lord I am not getting sick as much! Still have nausea. And I am soooo tired! I slept 11 hrs last night and still needed some coffee in the morning! I am going to take a look at my iron intake.....

How far along are you? 13 weeks with twins

How big is baby? a little smaller than a peach

Upcoming appointments this week? I had an appointment this week with my OB. Reviewed my ultra screen results and the twins have 1:1>10,000 chance of downs and trisomy. DH was so relieved because I had just explained to him about trisomy this morning. My next appointment is in 3 weeks with MFM.

Any new symptoms or changes? No. Although last night, i felt like poop. I had a headache, aches, extreme fatigue and just no appetite. Thankfully, after 10 hours of sleep I feel much better.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My family is making me crazy. My one sister is going hardcore planning a shower. My other sister has been generous buying baby things, but she said she doesn't like whats on my registry so she'll get what she likes. And my mom told me not to drive to work tomorrow in the snow storm unless I'm not planning on keeping these babies. -_____-

GTKY: Favorite kitchen gadget? My instant pot, an electric pressure cooker/slow cooker. I've been so lazy cooking and this has helped me create delish meals. Ive even made cheesecakes in it

This is my first ticker change post. I've been hesitant to post due to nervousness of this pregnancy.

@Kathryn0903 you think that's bad...my first appointment, my OB was delivering a baby so I had the PA perform my pap smear. Before she went to PA school, she was my high school volleyball coach. Talk about awkward.

Upcoming appointments this week?
I had one today to double check the head anatomy. Though science doesn't say it's genetic, I have had 3 cases of fatal spinal issues in my family in 2 generations: 2 cases of anencephaly and 1 case of spina bifida. The doc said all looked perfect!
Any new symptoms or changes?
Honestly, feeling so much better. No nausea and much more energy.

So great to see our healthy baby today at our ultrasound. Nothing beats seeing him or her move around in there ❤

My Margaritaville Frozen Margarita Maker! Too bad I haven't been able to use it for months! Looking forward to one come August!

Eta: @Lauradi1010 I totally feel you on the face issues. I had bad hormonal acne through my teenage years. It only got better with birth control. Sad to say it's back with a vengeance.

@Lauradi1010 the pasta attachment is totally worth it. I have the pasta extruder and it is amazing! Also kitchenaid customer service is outstanding. The rigatoni plate came broken and instead of sending me a new rigatoni plate, they sent me a whole new pastra extruder attachment. My mom got herself my "old" attachment!

Hang in there. My family (especially my mom's family) always drives me nuts. I love them, but we have too many loud opinionated women.

My aunt was complaining to my mom how selfish it is of my husband to not want to know the gender when I do. I'm still finding out, he isn't. My family is upset that I refuse to tell them. I don't think it's fair that they would know and my husband wouldn't. It's his kid! Now I look like a royal witch because my family is upset because knowing would make it easier on them. Smh, seriously!

@themrs it's thanks to a special event BRU had. I wanted the free gift! I put a few things in it and then my sister was like YOU NEED TO FINISH IT NOW! So there was that. It's not finished but I have basic things on there. Car seat,stroller, crib sheets. I'm a crazy planner so I like to have time to organize things. Plus my husband and I have TTGP for at least 7 years so I've had time to think about what if

@Lauradi1010 I think this being the first grandbabies plays a big part in it, as well as all the time my mom has waited to be a grandmother. My mom is already panicked that I'm not putting any blankets or comforters on the babies while they sleep. I try to explain to her that recommendations have changed but she just thinks it's terrible.

I can't imagine having the first grandchild. She must be over the moon ecstatic. She'll probably calm down once she sees how thick those winter sleep sacks or swaddlers are. It might be fun to plan a girl's day with lunch and baby shopping.

FTR, our first was grandchild #4 for my parents & #8 for my inlaws and they still don't always get the "new" recommendations.

Upcoming appointments this week?
2/14 with my ob. I'm still waiting on a call to schedule the NT scan. I called a couple weeks ago and they said the doctor had to look review my file and they'd call for an appt.

Any new symptoms or changes?
My energy is up. Appetite is hit or miss, nothing seems appetizing 90% of the time.
I've had lower abdomen cramps which is lame.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
I don't give a shit how your baby comes out of your body. The only people who have any input regarding this baby coming out are me, dh, and my ob. STAY OUT OF MY UTERUS/VAGINA/BODY.

My crockpot that also browns. Makes certain recipes so much easier to make.

We have our gender appointment on Valentine's Day at the elective ultrasound place and I see my dr next Friday. I see my dr every 2 weeks bc I'm high risk.

Any new symptoms or changes?
I was really sick week 13 but seem to be doing a little better this week.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Frustrated with trying to move, current home is a disaster trying to pack, my husband works all the time and it's impossible to pack with a 16 month old. On a brighter note... my daughter was really good the other day so I could at least get a couple things caught up, my husband works hard so I have to appreciate that, and my mother in law and mother have been a big help.
