I would really love to hear some positive stories if anyone here can share.
I had a bit of brown spotting no cramping yesterday so panicked cos of my history of miscarriages to the ER. Was seen by a gyno who did an internal scan and said I measured right from my lmp 7 weeks 1 day but no heartbeat found and booked me for an erpc for 2 weeks time as no spaces for next week. She didn't even say to wait and come back for another check she just wrote the pregnancy off. I keep thinking maybe too early for a heart beat but then my other loses I have seen heart beats at 6 weeks 3days but with this yesterday was my 1st u/s so can't tell if it started and stopped.
I have had 7 miscarriages all ending at 7 to 8 weeks. I was put on Cyclogest 400mg (progesterone), aspirin 150mg and Prednisolone 20mg(steriods) with this. Test has found nothing wrong with me and Doc just throwing this treatment to see if it works. I have a 9 year old boy no problem and since him it's just been loses. My heart is broken and I don't know why my body is doing this.
Re: Success stories 7 weeks no heartbeat
I'm sorry you're going through this, I don't have a positive story for you but if I were you I would insist on one more check before they do anything, just for your peace of mind. I wondered the same thing once (if everything could turn out ok) and I would have hated to do anything drastic always wondering what if everything was actually okay. A loss is heartbreaking but I'm so sorry that you have gone through it so many times. I'll be thinking about you and hoping for the best.

Sending lots of T&Ps for you and your family!
IVF with PGS testing was recommended to me for my multiple losses. I don't know if you feel that might be right for you in the future but it is probably worth thinking about.
Keeping fingers crossed for you.

I don't have any good story to share, but I agree with others - I'd say do what you need to do for your peace of mind. If that's insisting on another ultrasound, do it.
I would most definitely ask for a follow up prior to making any decisions. A good friend of mine also was unable to see the heartbeat at 7 weeks but it was because of a tilted uterus.
I hope that everything turns out well for you and your baby. I also hope that your doctors figure out whatever it was that has caused your previous losses.
I cant imagine how you must feel right now. You are in our thoughts!
