You've all heard this before...Just want to get it out

This is another complaint about a pregnancy announcement. I thought if I post it, I'd let it go and feel better. Don't feel like you need to read or comment. And let me disclaim that I am actually happy for my friends who have babies.

So about 2 months ago I inquired about a friend's status on Facebook that sounded pretty suspicious. I was right - she and her husband were trying for baby #2. Anyway, today her status is about being pregnant with baby #2 and being due Sept 5. First, I'm always kind of irritated when people announce to the entire freaking world so early because they are so naive. It's really stupid of me. I wish I was still so naive. Second, it happened so fast for them. Why not me? Waaaaaahhhhhhhhhh........

    I am with you!!! I hate myspace and facebook for this very reason!!!  I would never announce- to the world- about my pregnancy that way or that early.

    I am so with you on this too.  Why is it sooo easy for some people to get pregnant.  It's like they just decide and it just happens 1 2 3. 

    A co-worker got married the 2nd week of september this year, by the end of the month she found out she was pregnant.  It's so insane to me.

    That is exactly why I hate going on facebook.  I hate those announcements.  But yet, I can't seem to stay away from it either.  ((HUGS))

    I totally understand. After I had my MC it bothered me to. It bothered me to see preganant women, women with babies, At my follow up apt this lady sat right next to me with her 4week old baby. I got up and walked out. But on the other hand now. Being pregnant before and now. It is exciting for us and we do want to share it. Even if it is early. I couldn't decide if I wanted to come out and tell anyone this time because of what happened last time. But I decided I would rather have everyones thought prayers and support plus I was excited to share the news. I didn't want to be scared to tell people. Then I felt like I was already expecting the worst. So I did. I understand it is hard to hear other peopel good news. I had three people in the last 2months since my MC come out that they are pregnant to me. And the only thing I was, was happy for them. And I guess I got good karma because I was next! Hand in there girls. And be happy for everyone.

    That really does suck. But what I wouldn't give to be that naive again... Sorry your having to face this!

    btw- Utah really is a horrid place to have to live while dealing with m/c and/or if... I can't step outside my house without seeing big pg girls *everywhere*!

    Hahahah! Yes! We went to Body Worlds this weekend and there were tons of pg girls and little babies. It didn't upset me or anything, but I did notice!

    I feel you pain.  BF announced last night Casually to a room full of ppl that they are infact pg with #2.  She apparently got pg her very first cycle off the pill.  My hand ended up through a wall.  I need to work on this anger thing.  Not that I am not happy for them.  I am just angry at the world.

    The thing I hate the most is that usually those naive people who announce early to the world are the ones who go on to have perfect pregnancies. ?It should be us!
