He keeps washing loads upon loads of clothes but then leaves them in the basket and never folds them/hangs them up!! We currently have 3 big baskets of washed, dried, now rumpled as hell clothes sitting on our kitchen floor.
@NatSprat0703 NO. That is ridiculous. DH is the same - I'll wash, dry and fold all the clothes and leave the basket at the bottom of the stairs for him to bring up. Instead of bringing the basket up and putting the clothes away, he'll literally walk downstairs in the morning and pull out a pair of socks that he needs for the day. If that's not the stupidest/laziest thing I've ever heard......
He's making me dinner and then taking me out for menchies frozen yogurt(buy one, get one today) before my prenatal fitness class. And he totally puts up with me watching the bachelor even though he can't stand it!
@NatSprat0703 girl, I feel you. I was explaining how this is an incomplete chore if you don't also fold, hang and put away...he was like "yea, okay!" Um, yea OKAY!
Currently, my man is out buying pink frosted cupcakes so that we can surprise the two younger girls (13 & 9) with a small gender reveal. I suck at baking and I have a head cold or the touch of the flu since Friday, so I'm appreciative of his foot work. He's literally texted me 5 photos of different cupcakes to choose from. He was kind of disappointed about learning that we will not be having a boy today, so it's cute as hell that he's indulging in the perfect pink cupcakes right now!
I got home from work and immediately fell asleep on the couch. I woke up 3hs later and DH had covered me with a blanket and cleaned the whole first floor of our house including the kitchen and bathroom. He was just waiting for me to wake up to run the vacuum. It was so cute! He then made me a salad and some cut up fruits for dinner. I guess today he realized how tired the baby is making me.
@secicc12 that sounds exactly like something mine would do too. He just digs through the baskets every morning...thus wearing rumpled clothes to work. But they're his clothes, and I'm stubborn, so I'm not going to fold them just to make a point now! @thistle8677 Yes!! I swear sometimes husbands are just like children! That's so sweet about the cupcakes! Congrats on the girl!
We're moving at the end of the month. And I only have two days off before then so I have been totally stressing about how I'm going to pack and clean both houses. So SO is awesome because took the day off yesterday, packed most of our house and loaded it in the trailer he just bought for work. I had no idea and cried so hard when I got home.
But he's still an a-hole. I think sometimes he thinks I'm milking this pregnancy thing. When I complain about being tired or not having energy to do things (because I'm gone for 12 hours at a time) I get a feeling that he thinks I'm just using making excuses and it makes me crazy
Everyone is saying that their husband doesn't "complete" the laundry so I feel lucky that my husband does the laundry. It's the one thing I absolutely hate so when I have to do it, I wash/dry then put it in a basket. He also has got the entire house cleaned while catching up on all of the laundry.
