St. Claire's Hospital in Denville vs. Morristown Medical Center?

Hi all,

I'm still trying to decide on which hospital to give birth in. My OB/GYN is affiliated with St. Claire's in Denville and Morristown Medical Center. I've heard great things about both. For those of you in the Morris County area, which hospital are you planning to use or did you give birth in? Any help you can give would be really appreciated. Thanks so much!

  • I gave birth at St. Barnabus but I would definitely recommend MMH vs. St. Clare's. They have everything there you could possibly need just in case!

  • @kanjr Sorry this is late! I am using MMC instead of St. Clare's even though SC is closer. Both have private rooms, but Morristown has a great NICU if needed and my OB is across the street with the high risk doc less than a mile away.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
