Testing after NMC

Was anyone able to get fetal tissue tested after a natural miscarriage? I was told to bring it in by the OB on call that Sunday and another doc the next day said they wouldn't test because 8 weeks was too early and something about keeping it in a solution... they did send it to a lab and confirmed "product of conception" but didn't test for chromosomal abnormalities. I was very upset.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

AMA, ITP in pregnancy, vWD type II - low Factor VIII, unexplained RPL and secondary infertility

    I don't have anything to share but your feelings of being upset.  No shi& it was "product of conception."  Waste of time if they didn't test for chromosomal abnormalities.  

    Saving the sac was an afterthought my doc talked about at my follow up..... Too little too late doc.  I was 10 weeks

    This whole situation has made me question others. IDGAF if they went to med school. I've known my body for almost 34 years and I'm almost never wrong when something feels off.

    @rainbowwishes5. Makes me so angry to read abt all the insensitivity and nonsense. Come on!  It's common sense ppl. Mc are hard enough. Dealing with incompetent / insensitive ppl are just a slap in the face.

    The MFM nurse (haven't been to their office yet) sent me an email asking if I had a D&C with chromosomal testing on the day I confirmed loss.... My bloodwork orders say "missed abortion" but we saw a heartbeat when I was bleeding. I am really thinking about switching regular OB offices to a smaller one.

    We were advised that we did not need to keep products of conception, they felt that both of my miscarriages are related to a blood dyscrasia that I was diagnosed with and didn't feel testing would accomplish anything at this point.
