2nd Trimester
$120 a week for Daycare
So, it sounds like we're going to get a STEAL on our daycare. $120 a wk for full time infant care.
DH knows someone who is opening a facility within the next couple weeks (she's been doing home care for over 20 years) and she said she would hold a spot for us, and give us a discounted rate because she knows DH and his family so well.
I have yet to meet her, but he is really comfortable with her, and I'm pretty sure this will work out.
This makes up for my Aflac freak out this morning I think.

I already warned him that if she doesn't have things like this, it's NOT a good deal just because it's cheap, but he's pretty confident she does. I told him we need to meet with her within the next week or two just to confirm all that stuff.

I thought we'd be paying like $200/wk because of what the other chicas on here have said, but I guess the cost of living in Arkansas is just a lot lower...the average price I got has been $115/wk!
I feel much better now
It's close to half of what I've gotten back price wise from other facilities, which is why I'm SOOOO thankful. Home care is cheaper around here, but that fact that it is someone who we know makes it so much better.
That's a great price. I also have a steal for daycare. I pay $20 a day for the first child and then an additional $15 a day for each additional child. I only work 3 days a week, so right now we pay $105 a week for 2 kids (would be $140 if I was full time) and will pay $150 a week in Sept when I have 3 kids going (would only be $180 a week for 3 if I worked full time).
Oh, and before my first starting going she let me come for the entire day just to 'observe' and know how she did things etc.
