Baby tummy problems

My baby has had tummy problems since birth. We found out he is sensitive to milk and soy and have since put him on a special formula. I can't breastfeed due to a bout of severe mastitis and hospitalization. He was doing okay on the formula and then this week has been constantly gassy and having diaper blowouts. I have changed his bottles to reduce air intake, we use gripe water and gas drops. I do exercises and massages, and warm baths but it seems that he always has gas. It is so bad that it disturbs his sleep. I feel so bad. Has anyone else had these issues? What have you done to help your baby?

    In the beginning when my LO was figuring out her digestive system, we used both drops as you are. Being on her tummy also helped her. I'd lay her across my lap and rub her back. Seems like you're doing just about everything you can--hope it gets better!  :/

    What type of formula is he getting.
    Is it for sensitive babies or babies with allergies?
    My little girl has one for cow milk allergy, the formula for sensitive babies she still has a bad reaction and is really in discomfort.
    Now she's much better. She still sometimes reacts when she has to fart and really works for a poopy diaper, but she's not in pain.
    The formula for cowsmilk allergy doesn't taste very good. So you might have to try different brands before you find one your LO likes.

    Have you tried any probiotic drops? My LO had constant problems with gas even with gas drops and all the other tips and tricks-he would scream and cry all the time from being in pain :( We use the Gerber brand ones; they're a little pricey but totally worth it-within two days it was like he was a completely different baby
