Bout time this board popped up!
EDD Sept 4 here. So excited for baby #2. Baby #1 was not planned AT ALL - hubby had a HARD time adjusting to say the least. Many fights even for about 9-12 months after baby even... Please talk to me if you get there one day...
Baby #2 completely planned because hubby is COMPLETELY in love with baby now and FINALLY connected now that baby is responsive, etc (and prefers dad over mom some days!). YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First Trimester is going to suck balls. Then everything will be amazing until about the last month, the worst part of it will be the heartburn and worrying about if you will cr*p yourself. Trust me, you won't care. I'm pretty sure I did about 10 times that night on the delivery table. Hubby didn't admit it at first but later told me I did. No one cares. All they care about is the beautiful baby that comes out.
Then delivery and being walked to the toilet within minutes of having birth (What? No one ever talked about that!) to make sure you could go potty, as an adult. Forreals!
OH! And def make sure you have those frozen popsicle hemorrhoid pads with witchhazel whatever it is (my brain is so foggy from those early days of newborn life I can't recall anything!), they work wonders and on top of depends, are the best thing after birth for the first week or so.
But let's talk about a serious issue here... PPD.... Don't Ignore it and research it now... way before it's too late. As much as you feel like you are in a complete hole, JUST talk to someone. Even that feels overwhelming and exhausting, I know. It's the BEST thing you can do for baby (and yourself). Read about my experience here:
No but seriously, congrats everyone. Can't wait to go through this experience again with you all!
Re: WAHOO! LET'S DO THIS MOMMAS!!
First trimester this time has been so different than last time -- I'm feeling great (maybe it's just because I'm not experiencing the nausea?!) and I hope it stays this way! Last time I also felt my best in the third trimester, all the way up to my induction! I was commuting an hour and a half on public transportation each way to/from work and I thought that would do me in, but I think the added exercise kept me moving and feeling decent all the way to the end! It's amazing all the different feels everyone is going to get. I look forward to everyone's stories here!
It really is the best experience ever. I love love love being pregnant.
YASSSS on the PPD! I got it bad both times.

*eta- OP I hope you are not going to post your links to advertise your business all over this board too.
FWIW...I agree with @BostonBaby1...this feels a little promo-ish/spammy considering you bumped it without so much as a comment.
