Fever and slight chills- what to do? Remedies?

in Pregnant after IF
i have 100 fever. Slight chills. Took Tylenol and prenatals. Any other safe recommendations?

Married my best friend in 2013 (I was 33), After 1.5yrs of TTC got my first BFP naturally on 2/7/15 but ended in DNC on 4/14/15, not viable. In 2015 I was 35...Found out I had only one working ovary, which was DOR, with scar tissue and I ovulated at 7 days, with a small cervix opening and a tilted uterus... Needing an RE was a must.....IUI#1 Sept 2015,,, BFN IUI#2 Oct 2015,,,BFN IUI#3 Dec 2015,,BFN IVF#1 2/1/16- BFN IVF# on 3/29/16 retrieval only - 1 healthy chromosome tested embryo. IVF#3 retrieval 4/23/16- 0 healthy embryos. IVF#4 retrieval 6/17/16- 1 healthy embryo. FET#1-Transferred Both Healthy Embryos on 9/6/16 BFP!! 9/15/16 Beta 22.3, 9/17/16 Beta 60.5 & 9/19/16 Beta 195! 1st US on 9/23/16, only 1 Gast Sac & Yolk Sac found, US 9/30/16 US 6wk 1day saw and heard Heartbeat 120bpm!! EDD 5/25/2017 Had a healthy baby girl via CSection on 5/18/17 8lbs 15oz. Then four months later got pregnant naturally and had a healthy baby boy on 6/13/18 7lbs 6oz (at age 38). Needless to say, anything is possible! I'm keeping my signature open so it gives someone out there hope that anything is possible.     Have you contacted your OB? They told me to let them know of any temp of 100+. I hope the Tylenol helps!

    Dx = Unexplained IF
    1 medicated TI cycle & 4 clomid IUIs = all BFNs
    June 2013 IVF #1 = 6 frosties + BFP!
    DS1 born 2/14

    TTC #2 since December 2014
    May 2015 unassisted BFP ended in m/c at 7wks
    April 2016 FET #1 = BFN
    June 2016 FET #2 = c/p
    August 2016 FET #3 = BFP!
    DS2 born 4/17

    Yeah they said over 100.5 to go to hospital. I took two tylenols and lots of tea. No more chills. Thanks!

    I had a low grade fever in December and my OB told me to just take Tylenol and to be seen if it gets to 100.4 (which it never did). Do you have any other symptoms or just a fever? I also had a sore throat and a horrible cough that lasted for weeks. I was told I could take robitussin but that did nothing. Honey in warm water did help though!

    It sucks being sick while pregnant. You can't take anything that actually helps! I feel for you :cry:

    IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs
    IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos
    FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17
    FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN
    FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20

    Continue taking the Tylenol, increase your fluids(water, tea, Gatorade of similar electrolyte drink) and get plenty of rest. You could try taking a cooler shower or bath if you feel up to it or lay down with a cold pack on your head. Hope you feel better soon and your temp stays down!

    Thanks ladies! I had two cups of peppermint tea. Along with Tylenol. Fever never passed 100.2 Thank God and it broke in five hours. Kept myself very warm and rested. All is great again lol.

    Me: 33 (no known issues)
    DH: 33 (lower motility; 0 morphology)
    TTC since Oct 2013
    IVF round 1 January 2016 (w/ ICSI)
    ER: February 17, 2016; 15 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fertilized
    Day 5 Blastocysts: 8 sent for PGS - 5 Normal
    FET date: April 12, 2016 - DS born Dec 7, 2016
    IVF round 2: FET : Oct 4 - 1st Beta 188!
