I'm currently *enjoying* my first af post loss so I'm happy my body is getting back on track like it's supposed to. Except for a lovely sinus infection, I have been doing good. Working out a couple days a week, working a lot and enjoying my family

3. GTKY - Do you like to cook or bake? Got a favorite recipe?
Btw, this gtky was picked for selfish reasons, I love finding new recipes. I do cook a lot, but my favorite is baking. My dad brought me a bunch of fresh lemons so I'm making Starbucks copycat lemon pound cake tomorrow, yum yum!!

Well... I got my car repossessed today and the worst part of that is having to drive an hour tomorrow to get get it. I actually made a payment last week but they didn't catch it in time and also I somehow missed the calls and letter because you know life. But I can laugh about it now and I'm lolling hard!

3. GTKY - Do you like to cook or bake? Got a favorite recipe?
I'm a cook by trade but I like to try my hand at baking since I'm so sick of making meals all day sometimes I just want to bake a cake and also I'm a fatty so I always want cake lol. No favorite recipes since I just try my hand at any online.

@pumpkin0913 yay for AF. I hope mine comes soon enough. Also that cake sounds amazing!

I've had a pretty emotional week I think because of PMS symptoms. They were way worse than normal - like I got 5 zits all on the left side of my face and I was a lot more moody especially about my loss. Sorting thru everything I think I will still stay "benched" I just can't with the charting and all that junk so we will still continue to NTNP and enjoy sex for the remaining 4 cycles until our year mark of TTC.

Oddly I"m so excited my period started today. Not at all like it usually does. I normally get 4-5 days spotting each day getting worse until the flow starts. I had only 3 days of very light spotting never getting heavier and then today as I was talking to DH this morning it just came out lol. No cramping either. So finally after all of this I can get my Progesterone tested towards the end of this month. I will have to use OPKs because as soon as I get my first positive OPK I have to count 7 days after that then I get my blood drawn.

I wouldn't say I love to cook but I've been trying out some new receipes lately so I don't get stuck in a rut and found a really good taco one:

@vlagrl29 yay for af! But I'm sorry about the emotions, I feel ya! This whole process is an emotional rollercoaster. Hugs. And omg those tacos look amazing! I'm definitely trying them this week

We are still benched. 4.5 weeks post miscarriage. Still waiting on Aunt Flo to start so I have some idea of what my body is doing!

I love to cook more than bake but only if I don't have distractions at the same time as cooking

@hdaley sorry you're benched. My af returned 5 weeks to the day after my MC, so hopefully yours will be here soon!

1) still here for another cpl weeks (hopefully that's it). Benched from trying naturally from Dec-Aug '17. Trying treatment with frozen samples once AF shows up

2)Well my first cycle on the bench has not been kind to me, cd 33 with no AF in sight. Hopefully she's here early next week but FF is predicting next Friday, ugh.

3)I've always wanted to be one of those people that could just "throw something together" or "whip something up" but I'm just not, I've always needed the assistance of a recipe. That said I still LOVE to bake and cook but baking especially. My favorite recipe is a hand-me-down from my mother but it's similar to this

I temp, so I know I should be getting AF in a few days... I'm 9dpo and temp is dropping already. Normal LP is 12-13 days

3. GTKY - Do you like to cook or bake? Got a favorite recipe?

I like to bake, but usually don't do it from scratch. I read the box. Haha

1.New here. First MC in August 2014 at 6 weeks. Healthy LO born July 2015 and then second MC at 7.5 weeks Nov 2016.

2. I'm frustrated. We were told to wait until one cycle. Which we did, we tried the next month Jan and that didn't work. Now DH is traveling during ovulation this month AND to a place with Zika so we were told to play it safe to wait 2 more months after he gets back to try again. So I'm benched essentially until May. And it feels like everyone is getting pregnant around me. This last MC was a lot more heartbreaking than the first time. I'm still struggling.

3. I love cooking but I usually wing it. I combine recipes and then can never replicate it! I need to start writing it down as I go!

Hi @julzy I'm sorry for your losses and that you have to tta due to zika, that really sucks! I have a lo around the same age (June '15). Welcome to the board!

Hi @julzy and welcome. Has your DH traveled yet? Just wanted to let you know (and I'm sorry for sounding like a Debbie downer) that my DH also had to travel and our RE and the CDC recommend TTA for 6 months after the male travels and 2 if it's the female. We went ahead and froze some of DHs samples so we could do treatment during those 6 months...maybe something to think about? If you have any questions I'd be happy to try to help

new here. Had MC 1/18/17, healthy baby boy 9/29/15, and missed MC Sept 2014.

2. How is life on the bench treating you? Need to vent? Feeling OK?

I have been asked twice since 1/18/17 when LO will get a sibling. Annoying. Otherwise just sad. I would like to try again soon but not excited about it because of the fear of loss.

I like to bake if I have time. Just made spinach muffins the other week. I think I will add mini chocolate chips next time. #hideveggies

@julzy I was benched after our honeymoon and got KU pretty soon after. DH has a wedding in Mexico and I'm freaking out that I'll be benched too if not KU in the next two cycles. You aren't alone. It sucks.

It super sucks, sorry about the bench time/potential bench time ladies. And in my opinion Zika adds to the suckiness, bc BD with condoms just isn't the same
