    How far along are you?
    14 weeks

    How big is baby?  Peach

    Upcoming appointments this week? Nope

Any new symptoms or changes? Gas has been bad this week.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Now that the news is spreading, we've started to get random texts of congratulations from DH's side. DH feels like he's supposed to know who it is so he has me respond asking who it is. It's just annoying!

GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?
I love the types of food served at Super Bowl parties! Buffalo Chicken Dip, Spinach Dip with Hawaiian bread, Velveeta Dip, and lots more!

  • @NatSprat0703 are you sure you're at a peach for week 13?  TB app shows lemon for 13 and peach for 14. I know apps can vary.

Upcoming appointments this week? Tomorrow go in for the genetic screening, they'll do bloodwork and an ultrasound. If it's looking good, I might start telling more people. Nothing on social media till after we get results from the blood test.

Any new symptoms or changes? I thought my nausea went away, but all morning was feeling ick. Boo! Still all bloaty, but that bump in my pelvic region has gotten a little bigger and it now feels harder...

Rants/Raves/Questions? When does your 2nd trimester start? Beginning of 13 weeks or 14 weeks? My doc said consider 13 weeks your 2nd trimester.

GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?

  • @jacksonbears if you do the math, 40/3 = 13.3.  If you break it down even more, the 0.3 would be 2.1 days. I therefore say based on technicalities, 13 weeks and 2 days :). But, you'll hear people declare 13 weeks and 14 weeks.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
I got my breast pump in the mail already and it is awesome!!!

GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?
i love it all! I guess my faves are meatballs, 7 layer taco dip and cheese all.
  • @morgy_bee wow, that pump came early!  Three years ago we had to get a prescription written at the birth and then take it to the hospital shop to obtain ours. I wonder what the process is now. Haven't even thought about it yet.

I used Aeroflow. You submit online, they verify with insurance then contact you for the doc's info to get the prescription. You choose you pump and it ships. It was awesome!
  • How far along are you? 13 weeks

How big is baby? A lemon

Upcoming appointments this week? Next Thursday

Any new symptoms or changes? Thanks to a prescription, I'm finally feeling better!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just excited I'm in the 2nd trimester!  I've got an awful cold, but I can tell my pregnancy symptoms are getting better.  Once the cold goes away, I hope I feel fantastic!

GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?
I love Puppy Chow (Chex covered in chocolate and powdered sugar :))  Hopefully my nausea continues to calm down so I can enjoy some yummy treats.

Hi I'm Jay and sort of new here. :) I'm 35, no living children - had 3 MC's and a CP. Really hoping this is my Rainbow.

    -I am 10w1d

    -kumquat :)

-I wish haha not until February 13

-I'm honestly kind of stressing out right now because I've had pink discharge these past couple of days and I notice my breasts aren't as sore. No severe cramping thankfully, just little twinges here and there. Anyone else going through this?

-I guess the above mentioned would be my question/rant. Any insight is greatly appreciated <3

    -BBQ wings! Yum!

Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
  • @morgy_bee that's interesting! I'm going to have to look into that.  My friend just had a baby and her insurance wouldn't send the pump until a week before her due date.  She had him 6 weeks early and had to submit documents that she had him before they'd send it. That's awesome you got yours so early!!

@MrsPlatz what medicine are you taking now?? I'm on diclegis, but I've still been really nauseaus and thrown up with it.

@mjjc7709 I haven't had any pink spotting, but I have tiny cramp twinges every now and then.  They were alot more frequent earlier on, but I still randomly have them.
    Pregnancy Ticker
  • @NatSprat0703 The twinges I don't mind. I've had severe cramping before, which didn't end up well for me, so I'm hoping all is still ok with the little bub.
  • I'm late!

    10 weeks.

size of something. I never know.

Had an indepth ultrasound on Wednesday and both babies were looking good. Next appointment is in 2 weeks.

No new symptoms, just the same old ones I've been dealing with.

Rants: they changed my due date so technically I don't go here anymore, but I like it here and have grown accustomed to you group of ladies.  Plus, changing my ticker sounds like a lot of work.

@caity024 I am right there with you on the velveeta dip. I was imagining putting a chip full in my mouth this morning because that is what my life has become.

I used AeroFlow last time; they are great!

But better hurry up and get it now. With the Affordable Care Act being repealed, you won't be gauranteed one for free through your insurance for long.  :/
  • @NatSprat0703 I'm on Zanatc now, which has calmed my stomach down enough so I can eat.  Finally putting weight back on, but still not back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

A question I've been meaning to ask - has anyone felt quickening (the baby move) yet?  If so, what does it really feel like?

  • How far along are you?
    A little late! It's been a busy week. 11 weeks 2 days
    How big is baby?
    Lime
    Upcoming appointments this week?
Wednesday for a blood draw and check the HB. I was too dehydrated for a blood draw last time so I have to go back... oops.
    Any new symptoms or changes?
Starting to have good days mixed in with the exhausting/nauseous days so that's exciting. Come on second tri!!
    Rants/Raves/Questions?
DS woke up last night with a stomach bug and can't keep anything down :( I texted his babysitter to let her know and she told me both her boys had the bug this week. Thanks for letting me know it was going around {sarcasm}.
GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?
All the chips and dips. DH makes some killer queso and salsa.

I went ahead & filled out the form once I saw your post  . Looks like I'm approved, just waiting on what models my insurance covers.
  • @MrsPlatz yes I can feel my baby at 14 weeks. Second baby. I know for sure it's baby because it's just like what I felt last time at 16 weeks. I feel soft pokes and taps. If I press on my abd where my uterus is while laying down, I can feel the baby move because it feels like pressure and rolling. Some people say baby movements are like butterflies or fish flopping but I've never experienced that.

  • How far along are you?
    10w+2d (late posting!)

How big is baby? Cotton ball

Upcoming appointments this week? Getting blood drawn for the Counsyl informed pregnancy screening Tuesday. No real appt for almost 3 weeks.

Any new symptoms or changes? Just starting to feel rough the past 2 days. Gas pains, nausea, and complete exhaustion.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Nope!

GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food? I'm a big fan of chips and dip... queso, 7 layer dip.

  • How far along are you?

    14 weeks

    How big is baby?

    3.4 inches. A widdle lemon!

    Upcoming appointments this week?

    Nope. Not until the 13th.

    Any new symptoms or changes?

The usual cramping of growing baby. Also, allergies!

    Rants/Raves/Questions?

I never had problems with allergies before until this pregnancy. Now I am super sensitive to dust! DH has been dusting and vacuuming regularly now and that solved things at home. I work in a high-rise building with central air...  all kinds of dust in the vents I'm sure. It's been terrible. No matter how clean I keep my own area. (sigh)

GTKY: What's your favorite Super Bowl food?

Nachos. Gotta have the lime tortilla chips, shred some chedder and melt it on in the microwave. Its the best.
