Clomid with EPO

Hi Ladies, 
i didn't want to jumble up the IUI thread and I tried to search the forums first but couldn't find anything (possibly because I'm on the app on my phone and it's not as user friendly as the website)... anyways, I've been taking EPO (evening primrose oil) for a few months now and boy has it ever helped with my cf (or lack there of) but I'm going to be starting clomid tomorrow and Im not sure if it's okay to take with EPO... anyone have any experience with this?  I've emailed my clinic and not heard back yet.  I will follow up with them tomorrow as well, but thought I'd see if any one here has anything to share?  Clomid turns me into a desert down there and we all know that's no good for the sperm!  Thanks ladies!

    I would pick up some Preseed if you're worried about clomid drying you out. If you're doing an IUI it doesn't really matter if you have fertile CM since the IUI bypasses that.

    I was taking EPO while on clomid in prep for an IUI and it didn't seem to help me much at all but some people swear by it.  I asked my RE if he had any thoughts and he didn't seem to think that it would help but also had no problem with me taking it.  Many women also take mucinex to help loosen CM.

    2016 - dx with super low ovarian reserve; failed cycle with clomid, failed IUI, 
    2017 - egg retrieval #1 - 3 eggs, 0 embryos appropriate for transfer; ER #2 2 eggs, 0 embryos on day 3; ER #3 1 egg 0 embryos
    moved to donor egg in summer 2017; 35 eggs retrieved; 19 fertilized; 9 total embryos
    Fresh transfer Dec 2017= BFP!  baby boy born 8/22/18

    May 2019 - surprise natural pregnancy ended in MC
    Nov 2019 FET; MC at 9 weeks
    May 2020 FET; BFN
    July 2020 FET; CP treated with methotrexate
    Oct 2020 BFP!

    I have been taking EPO while I was on letrozole for my past IUI's. It definitely helps with CM, but that doesn't matter much for IUI cycles since you're bypassing the cervix anyway. I take it for the other anti-inflammatory benefits.

    MFI (High DNA Fragmentation) & Mild endometriosis
    TTC #1 since June 2015 
    Aug 2016 - May 2017  6 IUI's with letrozole - BFN
    April 2017 - laparoscopy to remove mild endo
    June 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU - Cancelled early ovulation, no eggs retrieved. 
    Aug/Sept 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU, cetrotide - 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature
    5 eggs ICSI'd 6 eggs frozen - 1 day 5 blast transfered, 2 expanded blast frozen - BFP!
    May 2018 - Baby girl born - Our Joy

    TTC #2 since July 2019
    July 2019 - FET - BFN
    Jan 2020 - FET - canceled due to family health issues
    Mar 2020 - FET - low beta - chemical pregnancy
    July 2020 - ICSI'd remaining 6 eggs - 3 fertilized - 2 survived to early blast stage, transfered both - Chemical Pregnancy
