Re: Symptoms Thread 2/1

  • Is anybody else's ears feeling like you're on an airplane and can't get them to pop? It's done this in my right ear most of the pregnancy. I'd like to be able to hear out of my right ear. I'm glad it's not both!

  • @SnarkasaurusRex my foot (just one) shin, hand, and back have been super itchy!!

I woke up up this morning with a bloody nose (first one of my life)
  • My vag is splitting into two parts! Didn't have this experience with DD, so its difficult to deal.  This pelvic pain is real, especially after sitting for long periods.

@davis7912 I was going to post about ridiculous pelvic pain this morning, too. I can hardly walk it's so bad! I can't describe it, but it's like a pinching/pressure feeling in my whole vag. Like, is my baby strangling my cervix or something?? I almost need a walker to get around.

ETA: Someone described it as shin splints on my pelvis. YES!

  • @McFarKane that's what I have been doing too! Ruthless cleaning, organizing, and purging! It feels so good!
  • I have started to get night time leg cramps.  Some of them have been so bad that I have to get out of bed to walk them off.

  • I actually don't have the feeling full problem in the evenings.  Instead I'm just starving every morning and then every couple of hours, probably why I'm gaining so much weight.  But I need ALL the food!  Also my stupid tailbone pain came back and walking and bending is very painful.  I guess I'll see if it continues to Monday and then perhaps call the doctor. But I'm not sure if I call my OB or someone else.

  • The mid to upper back pain today is un-freaking-real.  I understand the lower back pain and I get that as well but my upper back has been sore for days and today it's just awful.  I keep trying to stretch or push something into it but it's not working.
  • Anyone have a good remedy for ridiculous heartburn/indigestion? And how many Tums are too many? At this point, even water is giving me heartburn. Just a little bit of ice cream is the only thing that relieves it right now, and, unfortunately, I cant eat ice cream all day.
  • @rachelmiller03 I get it really bad as well it seems like just from breathing some days. I've found the only thing that relieves it for me it's really hot water with a lot of honey in it. Only downside, if you're prone to bad hot flashes, it can set them off.
  • @rachelmiller03 I don't know. I used to stop drinking water in the evenings to help, but then I was reprimanded and told I need to stay hydrated regardless of what it does to my heartburn. Which is frustrating. Because if I can't sleep, how is that better than dehydration? Catch-22 I guess. I am sleeping elevated on a wedge though. It helps at night. During the day I'm just trying to choose foods that don't give me crazy heartburn. Easier said than done.
  • My BH contractions started at 12 weeks this time around. They are always noticeable and painful. But, they are getting really bad. Like the BH contractions I am having are just about as painful as normal contractions. Is that normal? They are debilitating. What do I do?
