     9 weeks – the end of the embryo period!

     

    How big is baby?

     

     Sweet little cherry.

     

    Upcoming appointments this week?

     

     Yes, tomorrow!  I can’t wait.

     

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings?

     

     I’ve been craving potato soup. Preferably in a bread bowl covered in cheese.

     

    Rants/Raves/Questions?

     

     My husband couldn’t get off work to come to our midwife appointment tomorrow. Hoping I can bring back some good news!

     

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon?

     

     So hard to pick! We love to travel and hope to continue once the baby is born. Most recently, we spent a few weeks travelling by train around Italy, starting in Milan and making our way down to Cinque Terre and the Amalfi coast. I fell in love with Manarola. The food, the colorful buildings, the hikes, the wine…

     

     I don’t think we’ll plan a babymoon since I’m trying to save all of my vacation days to extend my maternity leave. We’ll definitely do some weekend trips to the Catskill Mountains this spring and summer.  :)

     I'm glad week 7 is over and hoping 8 brings my appetite back. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? 

     My skin is driving me insane. I'm so dry everywhere but my face is so oily.  

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon?

    Favourite vacay was the western Caribbean cruise, Cozumel was amazing. 

    No babymoon as we will be travelling from Texas to Ontario enough between us too but hopefully Summer 18 / Fall 18 we get too

    Upcoming appointments this week?

    Nothing this week. Still waiting for my first appointment next Thursday. I am way too impatient for this!

     

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings?

     Slight nausea but nowhere near as bad as my first pregnancy, hoping that stays true.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? 

    I feel like I am way more stressed out this pregnancy than last time. It took us a lot longer to conceive this time around and I'm not near as healthy and in shape either. My appointment cannot come fast enough next week, until then I'll just be sitting here being a worry wart!

     

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon?

    We did a week long cruise for our honeymoon to Mexico, Belize, and Honduras, it was wonderful. No plans for a Babymoon since we have a 3 year old but we live by the beach so we frequent it a lot during the summer and we usually stay a few nights by ourselves without DD during our anniversary (in July.)

     Finally able to eat some foods after completely wanting to avoid any / all food last week

    None this week

     

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon?

    A trip to Maine to hike with my hubby!  It was in October and absolutely beautiful.  We also did an entire day of rock climbing.  No baby moon just a trip to Disney in May with our son.

    Umm probably I got an unexpected call from my doc saying I needed to be tested for Zika :(

    Cravings : Taco Bell  

    Symptoms: super congested nasally

    Why did my husband have to go to Mexico the month before we conceived! Grrrrr 

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon?

    Favorite vacation place is definitely saint Thomas! No "babymoon" per say but we are going to Florida with my in laws and DS so more of a family vacay and def not a baby moon

    Upcoming appointments this week? No....not until mid-Feb...

     

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I have been really craving "bar food.." like wings, mozzarella sticks, big french fries....also ate pizza three times this weekend...eep. 

     

    Rants/Raves/Questions? We finally told a few family members over the weekend and it was so exciting!

     

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon? Headed to the beach with some friends in mid-July...not really a babymoon, but should be a lot of fun!

     Not until next week for another ultrasound. My dr gives them out like candy.

    Morning sickness caught up with me. 

    Boobs are still sore

    I get paid Friday! So I'm going to get more maternity clothes  

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Palm Springs California was nice!  Any plans for a babymoon? No baby moon. I don't think I can't take one with a toddler lol

     -had one this morning and Jellybean is measuring on track still! They're sticking with my first ultrasound measurement for due date so I'm now a Tuesday ticker change with y'all! Due 9/19

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings?

     -so damn bloated!!! Didn't have morning sickness with DD1 but today I felt a little more woozy than normal. Bah. Also up 5lbs WTAF?!?

    GTKY: What was your favorite vacation? Any plans for a Babymoon? 

    -my honeymoon! We did a 12-day Med cruise (Spain/France/Italy/Greece/Croatia) and also spent two nights in Barcelona.  Spent last babymoon at the Montage Laguna Beach for three days...this time not sure we will do anything with our sort 2.5yo!!

    @kelseyrayay I got married in Palm Springs!
