We have the induction scheduled for Saturday! The 6th was the latest they suggested for me (T1 diabetic).. and I pulled it off! Last 3 A1Cs have all been 5.7 or 5.8. I did as well as I'd hoped

Felix is no longer jaundice and back to birth weight so I don't have to wake him up anymore

I only have 2 more days of work left! After Thursday I will officially be a SAHM and I can't wait!

It's not going to sound all that exciting (but it is to me). My husband has quit holding it in, and now tells me multiple times a day that he is excited for the baby!! Today he accused me of "hogging the baby" since I am still pregnant, and it just makes me feel so happy that he's excited for this LO.

It has been so awesome being home with my sweet husband! He's a great daddy and has taken such good care of me. I love him!

I'm glad he's opening up!

Im going to glitterfart twice-

1) DD uses her self-rocking Rock n Play all day. The mechanism that rocks it always had made this weird squeaking sound, annoying but meh. Today the lullaby music went out so I called Fisher Price and they're sending me the newest upgraded model for free!! Impressive customer service

2) The cousin that I'm closest to is married to a photographer, though he never has really dabbled in newborn photography. They came over to visit Saturday and had asked if they could take a few pics. I assumed it wouldn't be much, but 2 hours later, multiple outfit changes and backdrop changes, there's going to be some amazing pictures coming our way! He wants them for his portfolio so it's a win-win. We weren't going to do newborn photography because of the insane prices, and now we'll have pro pics and I'm just so touched. AND EXCITED!

So I just have to add to the H love. H has been so great this past week. He is getting over being sick but has really been trying to help around the house and surprise me in little ways. He's been super affectionate by being my suggle buddy and foot massager. And he's been exercising the dog a lot so Jake is calmer when i come home.

My team at work just completely surprised me this morning with a small baby shower! I was not expecting it at all!!! And they got us the convertible car seat I needed to buy this weekend. No idea how I held in the tears, it happened two hours ago and I'm still overwhelmed by their love and generosity

I am finally on maternity leave!!!! And we get to meet our baby girl tomorrow morning!
