Hi- New Here (losses mentioned)

hi everyone!
i've been posting on the ttcal board. But here I am, about to start my first IUI cycle if this natural cycle doesn't pan out. I've had 2 losses in the past 3 months, 5 & 4.5 weeks. I have ever so slightly hypothyroidism and low progesterone. I'm currently on progesterone after taking Ovidrel this week to trigger this past Monday. I'm not optimistic. So I'm hoping to learn a lot about IUI and IVF here, my RE says I have to do 3 IUI cycles before we begin IVF. I'm such a newb to this its ridiculous so if I sound ignorant it's because I am!

    Welcome! I'm a newbie too, but after switching RE's and finally getting a diagnosis my new RE suggested going straight to IVF. I'm sorry you find yourself here, but hope you find the comfort, support, and answers you're looking for. Best of luck on your journey!

    Me: Stage 3 endo, blocked left tube
    DH: healthy, above avg #'s
    Oct 2016: Started Stims 10/8, Egg Retrieval 10/21 | 11 Mature Eggs | 10 Fertilized | 7 Blastocytes  
    November 18, 2016: FET- transferring 2.... BFP!!!  beta 1= 2619

    @rainbowwishes5 welcome. We were all new to this once. Hopefully, you won't have to be around long enough to become experienced with this. Good luck. You can definitely learn a lot from these boards. 
    Me:32 DH:36
    Me: DOR, poor egg quality, MTHFR
    DH: MFI
    TTC since 3/2014
    2015: 3 IUI's-BFN
    12/2015: 1st IVF cycle-(9 follicles retrieved, 5 mature, 3 fertilized w/ICSI, transferred 1 excellent and 1 good embryo on day 3)-chemical pregnancy
    3/2016: 2nd IVF cycle- canceled (3 follicles retrieved, 3 mature, all fertilized w/ICSI, 1 fragmented, 2 arrested) 
    3/2016: RE suggested donor eggs- taking an ivf break and to supplement 
    9/2016: 3rd ivf cycle-cancelled due to early ovulation
    Oct./Nov 2016: 4th ivf cycle- EPP-AFC:5, retrieved 10, 10 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 6 blastocysts biopsied and frozen. 3 CCS normal embryos
    1/9/17: transferred 1 embryo-BFP 1/16
    1/18/17: beta #1-104
    1/20/17: beta #2-174
    2/2/17: first u/s, heartbeat of 107 at 6w1d
    7/20/17: baby boy born at 30+3 via emergency c-section

    @rainbowwishes5...im sorry for your losses. Because of my different IF issues i cant relate to the IUI method but as someone who is struggling in ttc. Through IVF i can relate to the anxiety and stress of it all. I wish you achieve a successful pregnancy!

    @rainbowwishes5 I'm so sorry about your losses. I too am a total new to this so don't worry, we will be clueless together to begin with. Good luck with your last natural cycle, I'm half way through mine too.

    @rainbowwishes5 I'm glad I found your post. I'm new here too. 3 failed IUI, been on clomid on and off for a year, trigger shots...just had my 4th IUI 1/25/2017 switched to famara this time. We have been trying for 2 years. Glad I found this chat :)
