Team green. Did the same with DS in 2015. We just wanted a healthy baby and fun surprise at the end of labor. Added unexpected bonus was just how crazy it made our friends/family. It was fun guessing and even more exciting after 40 weeks of waiting and 24 hours of labor
IT'S A BOY!! (per NIPT). I had been having dreams about girls so when we got the results back, I actually said "Shit, really!?'' to the nurse! She laughed and asked if that's what we wanted. I said neither of us cared, we were just sure it was a girl!

@maybeitsmadeline That moment made me realise I need to start working on my potty mouth! I dont curse at work, with family, or out in public but at home I let them fly. DH and I have started to come up with funny words to use instead of cursing.

DH and I are both team Green. It's been easy not finding out so far but we will see how the anatomy scan goes. Lol. If we still don't want to know, I hope they respect that and don't say anything to give it away

The thing that I think is weird, with my boy I constantly had dreams I was having a girl before I found out! Now that I'm having a girl, I was constantly have dreams about having a boy!
@RubyRedPirate Too funny! I used to be pretty bad about cursing, but I've gotten out of the habit for the most part unless I'm really, really mad at DH. You have to tell me some of your funny substitutions! I have been calling DH a rusted pile of spoons lately. It makes no sense, but it's literally the only insult I can think of...
We are currently team blue per nipt. We find out baby 2's sex on Monday. I literally have no inkling one way or the other. I can't wait to find out!!!!! i keep switching from thinking it will be b/g to b/b.
NIPT says it's a boy! Anyone remember that old long distance calling commercial where the dad was trying to save money while announcing the birth: "Wehadababyitsaboy" [We had a baby it's a boy.] Keeps going through my head.
Is anyone else having a gender reveal party and would anyone else be interested in a thread to share ideas? Yes, pinterest rules, but I'm working on planning my small one for February and I just wondered if anyone else might be too. I'll start it but I don't want to clutter up the board if I'm the only one. (NOTE: I double posted this in the AS thread)

@nktrodden826 Lol I noticed. I'm only doing mine with parents and grandparents anyways, but I love planning parties and I'm super excited for it. I'm just gonna quietly slink back to my Pinterest corner... cute cake btw.

@kerils@irishrose54 thank you guys!! Considering this was the first grandchild from an only child (my husband) and me considering my brother doesn't want kids (he says...I'm sure that will change when he gets married) but this was a huge deal! It was our parents and grandparents who were all SO excited to be greatgrandparents it was a huge hit and they're all asking when we'll do another! But I'm a huge party planner so this is my bread and butter lol and they don't know we already know it's a girl so it's funny hearing everyone say I hope it's another boy
We are still team green. I really hope that no one at my OB's office ruins it for us. We have told them we don't want to know but I'll have to remind them just incase. Don't want any slip ups. My MIL is persistent that she needs to know. Um no, this is not your pregnancy. It's mine and DH's. She keeps asking when I'm having the AS. I don't have it scheduled yet but I already told DH not to mention it to her at all. She is the only person against us not finding out. Everyone else is excited to find out the day of.
@nktrodden826 Love that cake! Super cute! We are doing a reveal, but just with family because it's the first grandbaby and long overdue on DH's side considering he has a brother that is 12 years older than him. I don't care for them when you invite a ton of people just to be an AW which I've seen from a lot of my friends, but overall I think it's really fun for family.
@maybeitsmadeline That's basically us. My DH has a brother who is 15 years older and doesn't have kids, and I'm the only child on my side in a line of only children, so babies are super exciting for my family.

It's a healthy baby GIRL!!!!!!! Found out today! I was 100% expecting boy, because everyone in my life kept saying it 'had to be a girl'. It annoyed me so much!! I was like well I'm team boy because someone had to be, and mommy will be!!!! So when they said girl, I was kinda shocked! Thrilled, and shocked. Can't wait for our new family member! I'm just certain our son will be a sweet big brother to a little girl. He's sensitive and gentle. Looking forward to watching them grow together.
@LoveLee85 yay girl congrats!! I MAY be a bit biased but little girls are the BEST.

@maybeitsmadeline Thank you! We are feeling so excited. I think I would be equally excited for two boys too though, and just knowing they are growing right on track puts me on cloud 9 this week!!
Just got NIPT results back today, we're having a Boy!
I'm a little shocked. Not disappointed by any means, just was picturing us with a girl. I'm still getting used to the idea of a boy... today has been quite surprising.
*Also, all chromosomal tests came back low risk/ normal. We're extremely thankful for that.
