My manager is on STD for a foot surgery and she's been great. So I am stuck with the other team lead. He's a great guy, so totally not complaining. But, yesterday he asked if I could pick up another report that's due 4 days after my due date. I told him i could if no one else could, but I could be out by then. He was like, oh yeah when are you due?! Dude, I'm 9 months pregnant, has this seriously not entered your mind?!
@poetryandoceans my first "real" sized glass of wine is commencing before I start going truly crazy, thank you!
@Janefelicity it's comforting to know that I'm not alone in feeling like this, but I'm so sorry you've had such a roughnl go of it too! I do know logically I'm allowed to relax, now I just need my body to listen
@FreshBakedBrownies both my OB clinic doctors and my perinatal psychologist know how I'm doing and we talk often. I have a huge problem with anxiety anyways so I put lots of support in place in the even that this happened. Sucks that it did
@yogadevil I mean, it's not a strategy for every day, but think of it as a toast to everything you've done and everything you're about to do That's what I did.
Y'all, one of my volunteer leaders called the office at 4:53 PM to ask me how to do his end of year financial reporting. I am trying to teach him over the phone how to attach a document to his email -- AOL email.
DH makes fun of my AOL email all the time. I only use it for deals/coupons. I also used it while planning our wedding and I'm glad b/c now even over a year later despite unsubscribing from a bunch of stuff I still end up getting wedding crap sent to it.

@leslie1331 I just checked and you can still login to AIM. I couldn't figure out how to view old conversations though so idk if that is possible but AIM does still exist.

@poetryandoceans - I do not get why people don't realize that any sign of sickness = no access to a newborn. Come on, now. If I'm sick, I don't even want to be around people who come into contact with a new baby. It's nuts to me that people don't think about this stuff.
@yogadevil - Ugh, I remember that from my first. Poor you. The important things were to rest and to eat, and I couldn't make myself do either one. I was wired for, like, weeks. I started to resort to Benadryl just to force my body to rest.
