What do you have to be thankful for today!? Share some of the good things going on ((since let's be honest, most of what we talk about on here is all complaining and throwing pity parties ))
So thankful I've been able to order a lot of things the baby needed, I feel less chaotic. I got confirmation that indeed my baby shower is happening, so I'm feeling more peace that I will be ready on time for the due date of March 1st. Oh and my hospital recommended pj tops that button down for easy breastfeeding, I ordered Minnie Mouse ones, can't wait! Talked to my best friend about my fears of losing her and she let me know that they were unnecessary.
I'm thankful today marks exactly ONE MONTH till my Due Date!! I'm thankful for the light at the end of the tunnel. Slowly but surely getting here!
Even though I'm scared of adding another member to the family with an already little one: I'm so excited and thankful for the chance to have two babies close in age, to give DD a sibling, and watch them grow up together! It's gonna be cray cray, but so worth it.
I'm thankful pregnancy only lasts 42weeks.
Im thankful for you ladies!
I'm thankful for my DH being able to work from home all next week so I'll have a little extra help around the house, and mornings to spend as a family of three before we become 4!
@disneybaby84 that's a good call on the button down shirts
I'm thankful DH is watching DS on Saturday so I can go to my hometown for my godson's birthday party. It'll give them time to bond and hang out and give DH some confidence that he can in fact do everything for DS that he needs. DS is almost 18 months and since I am a SAHM and we generally spend weekends as a family, they have never spent an entire day alone together. Any time I've been away from DS overnight or something like that it's been with DH.. craziness
also, going to my hometown gives me the chance to have lunch with my sister and do some shopping without having to entertain a toddler. that will be fantastic!
Thankful today for my ability to volunteer at an animal shelter doing what I love in my free time. I know things will change after the baby comes and for at least the first month or so after he's here I won't be able to walk dogs or train new volunteers as I was able to do today, so I'm cherishing each day I have there now. I love training new volunteers and feel like the more I'm able to train these days the better not only for the SPCA & dogs, but also for my peace of mind, knowing that while I'm out taking care of my LO that the dogs will have others taking care of them in my place.
OK a few things because there is plenty to complain about but even more things to be so so grateful for.
Someone told me I don't look pregnant from behind. So that's amazing even if it was a bit of a stretch.
A friend came over today and brought me a blanket for the baby that she handmade and that made me feel so loved.
Last night I went to target to get the britax stroller I've been researching and Ive been feeling like it was a splurge. I couldn't find it anywhere for a cheaper price but I decided it was worth it. Well the first thing I saw when walking down the baby isle was the britax stroller box in the clearance section with an "as is" sticker on it marked down $60! And the box/parts were all unopened and nothing missing!
And lastly it is a cool rainy day and I have the day off so I am snuggling with my cat and a cup of hot chocolate taking it easy
Today I'm feeling especailly thankful for DS... I have honestly loved every age he's been, but right now is so fun because his imagination is growing daily and seeing his personality come out is amazing. He does sweet things that make no sense like telling the garbage truck on the youtube video, "You can do it, garbage truck!" and tries to console his Scout when it's time for bed. His beanbag chair is now a swimming pool. This all just started randomly recently. I love it. Kids are awesome.

A week ago, my car was in the shop, I had lost my wallet, lost the key to our mailbox, and my phone inexplicably died. Today I got a letter saying the police found my wallet, my car is parked outside and running, a co-worker found my key in the parking lot at my work, and I'm mobile bumping again. It feels like everything is coming up roses again
Thankful that my boss is understanding. Even though I have a desk job it's been rough these last few weeks. Hard to breath, hard to walk, butt goes numb when I sit for too long. She asked me if I wanted to do half days. I only have 2 weeks left before maternity leave so I'm just going to thug it out.
So thankful that my breastpump should be here in about a week and the process was zero hassle. if anyone still has to get theirs i cannot recommend aeroflow breast pumps enough!
I'm so thankful to have made it to 30 weeks and counting! I'm so thankful that our baby boy is growing healthy and strong. We can't wait for his arrival!
