Oh darn, my flea brained sister is mad at me. She's giving this kid another bad name, and the changes to the boy name made it lean towards the current trend to change something to a Y and it's a girl name.
So my mother feels the need to reminded me that at least my sister wasn't picking boring names.....
I gave up and told my mother since she gave me a super villain name, I really didn't give a flying fuck on her name opinions.
I'm in a nasty mood. Sigh.
I'm gonna need to know what the name is before I pass judgement...also I hope you worded it nicer than that. My feelings would be super hurt if one of my siblings called me a flea brain and told me they hated my baby name. ETA: I'm sorry you're having a bad day
Flea brain has Reneezmai for a girl and Kamryn for a boy, to go with Namaste, Payzleighe, Bellatrix and Legna.
Since I have a weird AF name (Tesla Nemesis - aka super villain name) - I hate non traditional names. Like irrational hate. Do not do that to your children.
Omg those names
Me: late 30s | H: early 30s TTC #1 since April 2015 RE Dx: Fibroids, surgery Jan 2016 IUI #1 and #2, Nov/Dec 2016, BFN IVF March 2017: ER - 5R/3M/3F, 1 PGS normal Polyp removed May 2017 FET May 2017 - BFP! Baby boy born 2/2/18
Bellatrix is HP. Clearly, with the dog names (Severus, Aurora, Filius and Lucius), I love HP. But, seriously, why are you giving a sociopathic Death Eater name to your kid? Even if you are a total Slytherin (I'm so raising my hand here - ahem 3 of the dogs), there are better names. It's probably bad enough we did a vile DE name for a dog but Luc is dark but gray on his head. It pretty much fit. But, seriously, not a human child.
Reneezmai is because Renesmee is too plain, but it's from Twilight.
Payzleighe is Paisley.
Legna is Angel backwards because Nevaeh is just far too common.
@Peregrine (TB is putting quotes around your name and wont let me not have quotes, I hope the tag is working). Those names are both/all fucking god awful. Like, truly terrible.
I'm surprised IASIP isn't on my TV as well. H and Ihave been on a streak of watching it lately. Instead, we're apprently rewatching old episodes of Sherlock. And that makes me think of my FCCC for today.

So, only mildly related, but I feel it's good drunk reading material. My most recent BBH (bump black hole) has been clicking on banned users profiles and reading through their last comments to see what they did that got them banned. This has been very entertaining.
P.S. - the relation here is that I am currently drinking wine. That is all.
@Tennis11785 Honestly you only need to find one and you'll soon find many more. If you start with the jessandtim3 threads from yesterday, you'll see plenty.
@Tennis11785 There's no list (Unless I'm missing a BBH goldmine), however, all of the banned profiles are marked with a red "user banned please carry on" avatar. Soooo, for instance, I pulled two from the "Dirty Delete" thread posted on here a few days ago. I usually go by their posts in those threads to gauge how interesting I think their other posts will be.
The postpartum preparedness thread pinned at the top of the board - which has some fabulous information, btw! (but carries an obvious TW due to content) - was made around the time of the Last Great Banning so there are a number of banned profiles in there as well.

To the bolded. Who even does that to their children, who they are supposed to love not torture!
@kiwi2628, @adirat, @tennis11785, @dinosaur, I really, really, really miss wine and whiskey right now. 20 days sober. I am not feeling this and have so much regret. But onward I go, sober and miserable. Please drink some for me *crying*
Yeah, I'm doing this WTO mostly dry. Two exceptions: 1. The other day, one beer with friends to answer the whole, "no, I'm not pregnant " without having to actually talk about it and 2. Tonight. Beers are in order.

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
