my son has been going on the potty for a month now but he's never done anything on it. He just sits there content. Well last night, he finally peed and started crying hysterically afterwards despite our encouragement and high fives. Lol, I have no clue what happened but it may be a few days/weeks before he agrees to back.
GTKY: Are you planning on a last date night with your H or a little family outing before due date? If so, what are your plans?
on Saturday, we're taking DS to an indoor amusement park for small children at the mall and then taking him to McDonald's for lunch as a treat. My parents have agreed to watch him that same evening so that H and I can go see a movie and have a nice steak dinner afterwards. It's going to be a good weekend.

We've had a few nights we've splurged just to spend quality time together, just DH & I. We'll be having dinner with our friends this weekend and it'll be the last one where we're the childless ones. Next month we'll have a newborn!

idk, other than how my Dr acted at my appointment, but the other kids were 39+ a couple days, so despite logic saying that doesn't matter, I've got myself set for making it to 39 but not 40 lol
I'm excited, but I also started getting really nervous. I've got so many thoughts and emotions about different things right now. Yesterday while sorting through his little newborn size clothing I started crying. (For a personal reason) but then lm also hoping to dodge a couple dates so I'm constantly having like a pep talk, don't come before Saturday is over, and definitely don't come on the 1st.

nope, we aren't currently planning anything specific, but we have tossed up things we could do because we normally would anyway. Like the kids have Chuck e cheese gift cards. And my husband would like to go to the livestock auction (we live bordering Amish country in ohio) but once baby comes I won't want to do hardly anything for a long time. I just prefer to stay inside the house like a hermit for a loooong time, so we might try to do those things before baby comes and I don't want to anymore.

Although, we did go to childbirth class last night and again tonight, that's a lot of time away from our kids, so kind of a date? Lol.

I have no motivation to work anymore. I need to start wrapping things up before I leave since I'm not going back but part of me just doesn't care because I'm not coming back.

We don't have anything specifically planned but we'll probably do something nice on Valentine's Day.

DH is sick, I just got over being sick....and I really hope that is it for our household being sick! Plus I keep wanting to do these cleaning/org projects around the house and when I get started, I get BH like crazy and have to relax.

Today is my last shift at work, so I'm hoping to maybe go to the movies and just enjoy some time with DH while on baby watch
