Guys, today's drive-by sent me a message with a sincere apology. I think we may have actually convinced her to stick around for a bit
But I hope if she does stick around she'll no longer use the words "preggers" or "hubby" and will not say things like "hubby and I are pregnant" because if that's true then we better call Oprah.
If she hadn't apologized, I was going to bring those up but thought it best if I just leave it be for now. However, I did have similar thoughts lol

@adirat I'm a very rich widow with a terrible secret.
My husband and I went as Janet Snakehole and Bert Macklin for our first Halloween together. I think he's totally an Andy so it was a perfect costume for him. I also may have a huge crush on Chris Pratt.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
This will not surprise anyone after our post about hot guys a few weeks ago but I don't find Chris Pratt terribly attractive. But @jsnakehole I love that costume idea!
@hartmich I used to get yeast infections all the time when I was on the super high dose endometriosis-battling bcp and something that worked for me -- this is super weird but was recommended by my gyno -- was taking 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (the cloudy kind from Trader Joe's) each morning. When I did it 5-6 days per week, no itching. (I never got discharge, just painful itch.) When I missed many days in a row, itching came back. Apparently the acv can kill the candida in your body including in your vagina.
@adirat ok you're the 2nd person to recommend that! I used to do a tablespoon of ACV every morning and just randomly stopped a while ago. I have never gotten a yeast infection before so I hope this doesn't become a reoccurance I'm not even sure what triggered this (no antibiotic, no wet bottoms, etc etc).
@hartmich You must be ktfu!!!!!!! Just kidding. I have no idea. Sometimes they're random. Have you eaten a lot of sugary foods or changed your diet in some way?
@adirat Yeaaaaa don't worry I already went down that rabbit hole. the first website I landed on after googling symptoms last night said pregnancy was a common cause. Cue the BSC....

I thought it was just me but I really hate the words "preggers" and "hubby". Preggers just sounds vulgar to me, and no idea why I hate the way hubby sounds, I just do.

@jess0211 My dad had to pay half of my older half brother's tuition due to their divorce agreement and I hated it so much that he didn't even bother saving for mine. Like I understand the money wasn't there but I went to the same school as my brother and he graduated right before me so the money my dad was spending on him could have gone to me (according to my teenage mind). Since my parent's divorce I've learned of a lot of things my mom did to hurt the family financially so I can't blame him.
I have to be at work in a few mins and I haven't even made my breakfast yet. Thankfully it's just oatmeal that I heat up there and I live next to the school.
Also I changed my username for privacy reasons but didn't want to change it so much people didn't recognize me.
@jess0211 That sucks that you got a different deal than the rest of the kids because you didn't fall under a court agreement.
I think it is completely bananas that a court can't compel married parents to pay for college* for children who are over 18 but they can and do compel divorced parents to pay for college for children who are over 18. How bizarre and messed up is that? And it's not like the parents just get to pick a fair amount that would cover a state school or makes an even amount for all of the kids.
*personally, I don't think parents should feel compelled to pay for college. I think it's great if they can help out but I can tell you that there was a difference between the kids who weren't paying for college and those who were at my school. Example: "Want to skip class and go to Target?" "What?!? No! Do you know how much this place costs per day??" My parents were able to help us out some but nothing like FAFSA said. "Hey, you should quit contributing to your retirement, take out another mortgage or two and everyone can live on ramen!" I'm the youngest in my office and am baffled listening to my coworkers talk about putting their kids through college and some of the dumb crap they have done to do that. One guy was about 45. He took a good $15,000 out of his 401k so his new stepdaughter could pay for school. He left his statement on the printer later. Let's just say that if I were his age and had his 401k, I would be freaking out and scrimping to find money to put into it. Not raiding it to pay for her college. I've always planned to help our kids out some but to make them work for it, too and to save a fair portion of it for once they get out of college and they're trying to get a foothold. That was the hardest time for me. The rest of the time I was in stable housing and decently fed. That six months after graduation, I passed through about four addresses and spent a fair amount of time living off my pantry staples and having imaginary meals (where I would lie in bed and daydream a decent meal). That was the hard time.

I came home to a letter from the IRS addressed to DH- apparently we're facing a tax penalty because he has no health care. And I'm the idiot who started the process and then forgot to nag HR about where to send my supporting documentation to officially get him on my insurance for now (and yes, I'm the worst). And apparently the answer you get when you call my HR is that they're receiving a high volume of calls and to please call back tomorrow. I seriously have a week and a half to resolve this. I'm not calling back tomorrow. This needs to get resolved TODAY. Or if not, he needs to make sure Tricare is covering him for now.
Have I mentioned that I'm not so good at adulting? (Better than April and Andy, but by how much?)

@jess011 My parents split when I was a freshman in college (add "frosh" to the dumb word list). My twin and I got nothing from our father because he purposely quit his job so my mother couldn't get support for us (5 kids). Luckily the lack of income actually helped us with FASFA and grants. @lulu1180 I applaud you and others for being forgiving.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@Kiki75 completely random, but I had to click on your profile to figure out what your profile picture is - because I totally thought it was a giant potato on a slide.
Oh yeah, you apple cider vinegar eaters...how do you do it??? I tried once mixed with a glass of water and I about puked. Please share your tips with me!

@Kiki75 I'd like to know too. I've successfully made salad dressings with ACV, but I'd have to eat a LOT of salad with the aforementioned dressing to get 2 ounces of ACV per day.
@Kiki75 I sort of just love a shot of it! I have also mixed in cinnamon and honey to make a booster when my fall allergies are acting up

@kiki75 mixed with Oj or lemonade. Otherwise I gag! But the citrus covers it well. And I only took a tablespoon so I'd mix with juice in a shot glass and then toss it back.
I put the ACV in a medicine cup like comes with cough syrup then shoot it down like alcohol. It's not delicious but you can do it. Pull on your college party experiences ladies! But yes, you should drink water afterward to rinse any off your teeth.
SOBBING. I just found out Colo, the worlds oldest gorilla in captivity, died today. She was a gorilla at the columbus zoo, and I am sad because I actually helped care for her a bit when I went to vet school in Ohio. She was such a good gorilla. Wahhhh
Ugh - I struggle enough with the herbal tincture from my naturopath, there's no way I could do ACV - hats off to you ladies who can!
@dragonfly87 Yes! Those ads drive me up the wall, especially on those tough days
@hartmich Are you feeling better? I saw you just finished AF - sometimes I get that after my period and it doesn't turn into an actual yeast infection, but apparently is just from AF messing with your pH levels (I know someone else mentioned pH as well). It usually just resolves itself after a few days
