    1. How far along are you? 20+3 today. Feels good to be halfway!
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Just moderate lower back pain. Also, my belly has started to itch.
    3. When is your next appointment? Thursday morning, standard prenatal appointment
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions: DH and I leave for our baby moon on Saturday! We're going to Disney. I'm so excited, since going to Disney parks is one of our favorite things to do in life, and it will be awhile before we can go back. We're going all out and staying at one of the monorail resorts so that we will have quick access to go back to our room if I need a break. I've been feeling the best I've felt this entire pregnancy the past 2 weeks so it's definitely a good time for us to go have some fun. I have energy and my symptoms have really subsided. Also, I'm feeling movement all the time now! It's gotten to the point where if I go a couple of hours without feeling the baby move, I start to freak a little bit. But then she moves again :)

QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far? Definitely feeling the movement. It puts me in the absolute BEST mood ever. I could be having a terrible, horrible, awful day, but as soon as I feel a little kick or squirm in there, all is right with the world! Also, DH felt her move for the first time over the weekend. Usually, the second I put his hand on my belly she stops. But he was able to catch her in action!

  • 1. How far along are you? 20 weeks, 2 days (they showed me measuring 1 day ahead yesterday).
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week? difficulty sleeping every night. I am just so uncomfortable, already. I wish I could sleep on my back!
    3. When is your next appointment?  I had my 20 week nurse checkup yesterday. We got to see her on the ultrasound and she is healthy and an active little gal. 12 oz and everything looks good. She's gotten bigger!
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions:

QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far? Just being pregnant again is such a blessing , and I love feeling her now. Her movements are starting to become more pronounced everyday. It's also fun for my DD to start noticing my belly. She has been pointing at it recently and I'm trying to teach her 'sissy'. (She's only 14 months).
  • 1. How far along are you? 19w
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Still tired
    3. When is your next appointment? OB & anatomy scan next week
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions:

QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far? Being pregnant. Knowing that I have a little life growing inside of me is just awesome. I still haven't felt any movement yet.
  • 1. How far along are you? 18w6d
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Well my kids shared a nasty stomach bug so it is tough to say what is pregnancy vs toddler
    3. When is your next appointment?   Tomorrow - hoping my ovarian cyst is on the decline and not still growing!  I'm a bit worried as my abdominal pain returned, but that could most likely be from the kids oversharing.
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions:  Nothing really... just happy to not be at home sterilizing everything.

QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far? The only part of pregnancy that I enjoy is feeling the baby move. I tend to get every nasty symptom otherwise.  It makes me feel guilty/frustrated to not enjoy it more given how badly DH and I want to have babies.  I LOVE the outcome... hate the process.
  • 1. How far along are you?
    18 weeks
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week?
Super uncomfortable at night with tingling hands and feet and sore joints.
    3. When is your next appointment?
    The a/s on the 30th.
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions:
Just a rave about feeling the baby moving more.  It's awesome.
QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far?
Feeling movements and anticipating DD becoming a big sister.

  • 1. How far along are you?  18+1

    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week? last week was pretty scary as I started spotting after night shift. Luckily my doctor took me right in and everything was fine. Just a small yeast infection and absolutely nothing since. I felt my heart and stomach sink and could barely make it home in one piece but little ones heartbeat was strong and normal.  Otherwise my energy has been great and I've just been feeling fat and happy.

    3. When is your next appointment?   anatomy scan January 30th and OB check up Feb 3rd

    4. Rants/Raves/Questions: I was just saying to DH yesterday how quickly this is all going by. It's been scary, hectic and anxious at times but it really is going by too fast. I can't wait for our next u/s to know if Baby R is team pink or blue!

QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far? As easy and symptom free as this pregnancy has been, I've been a ball of nerves and doubting everything since day 1. I just can't connect because I'm so afraid something will go wrong again and I'm afraid to get "too attached". I don't think I've felt anything yet...it's possible but I can't be sure. Maybe once I feel little one squirming I will feel more confident. But so far we've been planning our gender reveal party and that's been pretty fun to look forward too.  Last week, DH and I bought our crib (got a super great deal we couldn't pass up) and that kind of made it all start clicking. Crap...there's gonna be a baby here soon!!

@wifeinraleigh28 I am SO jealous you're headed to Disney!!  We usually go every year but obviously are skipping for budget reasons. But DH and I decided to give ourselves a "push present" and will register for the WDW half marathon next January so we can take baby on their first Disney vacation!  It will be a good motivation for both of us to drop the baby weight (yup...DH has a sympathy belly too) and the Disney runs are always so much fun!  This will be my first half marathon but I've done the princess 5ks before. Have a great trip...lots of cute Disney onesies in the Emporium!!
  • @kmd0501 The spotting sounds so scary but I'm so glad all turned out okay! I totally understand how you feel about being so worried that something will go wrong. It wasn't until after my anatomy scan that I finally let myself relax and enjoy being pregnant. The past couple weeks have been a dream. I do still get fleeting anxious thoughts, but I've been able to push them out of my mind pretty quickly. The half marathon sounds like such a fun idea for next year! DH and I are huge Disney fans and I can't wait to buy some cute baby clothes while we're there! We're also going to buy her a pair of Minnie ears with her name on them of course, which I would love to incorporate in her newborn photos :)

    17w2d
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week?
Insomnia and tired. I have had some low back pain as well.
    3. When is your next appointment?
Thursday, to confirm gender after the test results being wrong.
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions:
My hair is falling out in clumps all of a sudden. Is this normal??
  • @wifeinraleigh28 enjoy your baby moon! I'd still really like to plan one, even if its just a long weekend.
@Elyse1384 good luck at your appointment tomorrow! Fingers crossed stomach pain is just a gift from the kiddos.
@kmd0501 glad the spotting turned out to be nothing!

    1. How far along are you?
    17 weeks 4 days
    2. What symptoms are you experiencing this week? Had a random bought of nausea this morning, haven't had that in a couple weeks but it seems to have resolved itself. Still congested, I think I'm just stuck with that for a while. Other than that I've been relatively symptom free recently.
    3. When is your next appointment?  A/S on February 7!
    4. Rants/Raves/Questions: Just waiting to feel movement in there. I know I'm still early but I am so anxious to be able to feel something. I thought maybe I did on Friday but nothing since then so I'm thinking I was wrong.

QOTW: What has been the best part of your pregnancy so far? Sharing with friends and family who knew what we had been going through trying to get pregnant! Also went to start our registry yesterday, which was definitely fun. Picking out actual stuff for this little thing growing in my stomach made it seem way more real.

  • @ClaireCF Doing the registry was so much fun, and I still am constantly going back to our registries and changing things around and adding things. Definitely makes it seem so much more real! Hopefully you will start feeling movement soon. I think mine started about halfway through my 17th week, but maybe closer to 18!
