My cat!  She's super cuddly and worse when I am pregnant.  Nothing worse than love nips when she wants me to pet her while I am trying to nap.    Oh, it doesn't help that she parks herself on my tummy/ chest to get snuggled.  I suppose I should feel lucky that I have an adorable affectionate feline, but all I want to do is sleep while I have the opportunity!

  • UGH my neighbor is a totally TW!!! So DH and I moved to our new house in July, and its like a townhome (connected on two sides) but we own it, no HOA or anything like that.  BUT our driveway is technically owned by the left TW neighbor.  We have an easement to get to our parking spots, but its not our property.  WELL TW is super old (80's at least) and doesnt shovel, so DH has to go out there and do the driveway every time it snows.  Well the first snow, he yelled at DH for putting the snow in the wrong spot.  We live in the city, so not a lot of room to put snow anywhere, but how dare he yell at DH for that.  THEN last night at around 2am he was doing something that was banging against the wall, and woke me up, so DH was pissed (hes very concerned with me getting my sleep right now).  He left a note for him this morning, but Im hoping that doesnt cause any more stir, but at the same time, WHAT THE HELL!

Sorry this is super long! Im just pissed at my Neighbor.

  • Dh. Today is my first appt and he has a man cold and just can't deal with life.

I mean, he also doesn't want to bring his life threatening man cold to the ob office, which is good I guess.

I'm still bummed. And super nervous for the ultrasound. Fx all goes well.

  • @JWatt5 yes!!  My husband is just driving me crazy in general, but his snoring is killing me!  I'm usually a heavy sleeper, so I think that's why it never bothered me before, but now I wake up to pee or get water, and I cannot fall back asleep because of his snoring!
  • @clrgrdfrk
    man colds are the worst.

It is unlikely that DH will be at any appointments with me. I am honestly not sure he will be at the delivery... If I have to fly all the way to Anchorage he may have to stay home with the kids. If I can have a C-section and deliver nearby he will come up and we can have friends stay with the boys.

My TwatWaffle is a toss up between one of my Sped Aides that decides she is "too sick" to come to work at LEAST 2X a week (but can go to Bingo with no ill effects) leaving my other aide and I to try and provide services to all the children on our own (not possible).

Candidate #2 is the girls basketball coach. I coach volleyball, and most of my team members also play basketball. The BB coach is a bitch. She yells at the players, singles out the ones that she has decided are not "perfect" pits them against each, and then claims it is because she is so stressed out that she has to yell. I do not like how she treats my kids.
  • My neighbors.

It is a young couple, about the same age as me and DH. But they fight... all... the... time. Most of the yelling is the wife. We share a wall with them, and the insulation isn't the best, so we can hear every word. The problem is that they always seem to fight at like 1am or 2am. Seriously, I'm sorry you guys have issues, but do you have to subject everyone to it  at un-godly hours?!

Oh, and they are also door slammers. Fighting or not, they always slam their doors. Makes me jump every time.

If this keeps up when my newborn is sleeping... ho boy... they better look out. I'll be at their door.

  • Guys Update on my TW neighbor.  I came home early from work, and he took it upon himself to yell at me for playing my radio (which we never do), and never once apologized about waking us up.  I just blew up at him for being so rude.  UGH he makes me so mad!

  • Ugh. Adding a twatwaffle. My 19yr old niece's father. Said niece is pregnant, I think also due in August. Has a host of issues, many of witch stem from father both spoiling and abusing her... Letting her do whatever she wanted all the time so she decided to move in with him at 7? maybe 8... But at the same time emotionally and physically abusing her. She has some serious mental health issues, repeated suicide attempts, anxiety (that her father fixed with "service dogs" instead of therapy). I love this girl, I have loved her her whole life and I am worried about her and this new baby.
  • @mokay19 oooohhhh I know how you feel. ALL THE TIME! When we work in a male dominated industry the amount of ridiculous comments that come out are incredible.

My first pregnancy with my son someone at work made a comment - "are you going to engineer a solution that will allow pregnant women to waddle less? hahahahah!!"   Let's just say I made a snarky remark back and told my good friend in HR. lol. IDIOTS!

Can't wait for this pregnancy's comments, I can already see it..."having twins?" UGGGH.

  • Our downstairs neighbors, who smoke pot in their apartment and it wafts up  and stinks up our place, too. At night, they do it in the bathroom when the kids are home, and their fan sounds like a jet engine (not their fault, but still super annoying).
  • My kids are TWs.  They opened up a box of chocolates H had given me.  Then sampled a bunch.  They decided that they didn't like a bunch too.  This was when so was picking up every article of clothing that was on my closet racks up on the floor because DD2 had pulled them all down.

  • Neighbors across the street.  All day, all night, everyday.  They leave their cars running in their driveway for hours with the radios blasting, no exaggeration.  There is a constant flow of cars, in and out at all hours and every last one of them has their radio blasting.  Whhhhhyyyy?  From the sounds of it though, everyone's neighbors are TWs.
  • The snot-nosed kids I work with who probably gave me a cold. Non-stop sneezing over here, ugh.

  • My husband. He made us put off going to the grocery store because he didn't feel like going to 2 in one day (we get everything but meat and produce at walmart, get the rest at frys). So, he tried to make us put it off again today but there wasn't going to be anything available to make dinner.

I had knocked my head on the pointy part of our cabinet and had a raging migraine because of it. I didn't want to drive in the dark, shop, load the car, drive back, unload by myself. While pregnant. So I made the whole family go with me. That ticked him off and he was looking for every reason to get more ticked off and to call me selfish for making them come with me.

We get to the store and he bumps into me forcefully twice but doesn't say anything. Now, I have a pretty bad temper that's exacerbated by pregnancy and I've been trying to work on it. So, instead of ripping him a new one, I put my youngest DD in the cart and briskly walked into the store. I did my shopping and we met up at the register. A manager saw that we were waiting in a long line and whispered to me that she'll take us in her line. I walked over and told DH (read: dumb husband) to follow. He responded, "are you sure she's open?" Fire is burning through my eyes but I calmly replied "yes". We made it to the car and he said "thanks for being quick in there." I told him he was being a true asshat and then I called him out for running into me. He said he didn't know he hit me *eye roll*

Eventually we make it home and I start cooking dinner. HE COMPLAINS ABOUT THE FOOD I'M ABOUT TO MAKE. Y'all. I went off. I told him that he should be thankful he has a wife willing to cook for him, whatever the meal may be. I also told him that his attitude was childish. Of course, in his usual fashion, he had an excuse as to why he was justified in feeling and acting how he was acting. So through. TW for life.

    wow. way longer than anticipated.
