Upcoming appointments this week?

Had an ultrasound yesterday and everything appears to be going swimmingly! I really really enjoyed watching SO stare at the pictures, whispering "I made this!"

Any new symptoms or changes?

MS continues to wane and energy was on the upswing until I came down with a head cold. Kinda wish the list of okayed meds the dr gave me included the active ingredients and not just the brand names.

Rants/Raves/Questions?

Hooray for genetic testing being included in my insurance! Hooray also for getting maybe some bonus u/s pics out of it (good excuse to wait til week 13 to schedule that).

knife, spool of thin gauge wire (for reshaping into fish hooks, etc), mirror (for signaling and fire starting).

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, had first u/s last week and will have NT scan on 2/9

Any new symptoms or changes? Vomiting. I had been *just* queasy with no throwing up until last week. Hoping it was a fluke. Sooooo ready for MS (all day) to go away.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Insurance is confusing and it's annoying. That is all.

Upcoming appointments this week? We had one yesterday. We got to see baby and everything looks good so far.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope. Still feeling nauseous all day. That's all right.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We got a quick ultrasound yesterday at my appointment. So we knew where baby was situated, so we pulled out the doppler and were able to hear baby's heart beat! We also took a video and I have listened to it multiple times today.

GTKY: If you could take three things with you to a Deserted Island, what would they be?
One of those emergency kits that would hold you over for a year, my family, and a tent.

Nope, our NT scan is at the end of this month.

Any new symptoms or changes?

No new symptoms really. All I've been feeling is tired. Boobs aren't as sore anymore. Kind of makes me nervous when the symptoms fade.

We booked our early "gender" determination scan which is less than a month away. We're so excited!!

Hmm.. my husband, laptop, and some type of emergency kit?

@hupp0013 hearing the heartbeat is truly the best thing ever! We bought a home doppler a couple weeks ago and I love it!!

Any new symptoms or changes?

Same symptoms, different day. Breast soreness comes and goes (sometimes is a sharp pain). Peeing 100 times a day. Nauseous with food aversions but constantly hungry... tired, unmotivated, and nervous!

how does everyone else keep pregnancy a secret when you aren't drinking with friends? they were suspicious at our Friendsmas and now we'll be spending the weekend in the mountains with them and not sure if we should lie or spill the beans... haven't told our families yet.

How far along are you? 11 weeks!

How big is baby? Well the bump says Lime, my ticker says lego man, but also it could be a doughnut hole, so who knows! They all seem to be very different in size to me.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have my NT scan on the 27th, the day after my birthday!

Any new symptoms or changes? I feel like my energy is coming back, but my TW of a neighbor kept me up last night, so who knows.

Rants/Raves/Questions? New leggings are the best.

GTKY: If you could take three things with you to a Deserted Island, what would they be? I am so not outdoorsy. I really dont have any practical ideas, but I think I would want my DH and some tequila and lime!

@hupp0013 Yes! The first trimester is flying by this time and I couldn't be happier. Patiently waiting for my next scan on the 30th...I'll be one day from 13 weeks so hopefully they can give me a guess on the gender.

Upcoming appointments this week? Seeing a geneticist tomorrow. Unfortunately my husband's family has some pretty icky stuff on his side of the family

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really, but soooo ready to be done with Tri1

Rants/Raves/Questions? ALWAYS HUNGRY OR TIRED wayyyyy more then ever before. And I've never ever had to get up to pee in the middle of the night til now, which caused me to stubb my pinky toe annnddd break it sorry needed to vent

@theMrs when can you start hearing the heartbeat with a doppler at home? I have one from my last pregnancy but haven't pulled it out yet.

@em1017 I totally fake it- make my own drink discreetly or blame a migraine or antibiotics for a cold or offer to be Designated Driver

@maebee87 From what I've read, you can normally start hearing the heartbeat with the doppler between 10-12 weeks. I found it at 10 weeks!

Upcoming appointments this week?

Just had one on Friday last week! Got to see baby and hear it's heartbeat. OB was happy to say the heartbeat was REALLY strong! We also saw the little one move! It put on a show for us! Stretching and yawning! It was incredible! It really made this real for me! We also found out I am further along than we thought. They are placing my due date on 8/3 now, so I have to move to the Thursday Ticker Change. I'll miss you ladies!

Any new symptoms or changes?

Heartburn has gotten under control. Keeping my meals small and avoiding high acid foods do the trick! I am getting those round ligament cramps now! Oh boy! Totally normal, but it's uncomfortable at times. I stretch, take hot baths, and hold a warm rice pouch to my tummy to help relax them a bit. I'm starting to show a tiny bit too! But only enough for me and DH to notice right now.

Rants/Raves/Questions?

Been thinking about epidurals recently. Some tell me "It hurts! Do it!" and others say "Don't! It will be hard for you to push!" I personally am not afraid of pain during labor. I'd rather be able to feel what is happening with my body so that I may perform well. I'd like to hear all your thoughts on this?

I'm always terrible with these kinds of questions. I usually read into and ask how long I am staying, or give a smart-aleck answer like "a boat so I can escape". LOL

Upcoming appointments this week? I have my first on Thursday! I'm wondering if my EDD will be changed because I've been going off my O date not LMP. If they change my EDD I'll be 9 weeks on Thursday since I O'ed so late.

Any new symptoms or changes? as mentioned in the FTM check in, I recently developed nausea if even the tiniest bit hungry. Also lost 8 lbs in the last 4 weeks.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My BFF is also pregnant and due in a few months. She and her H went to an RE to get pregnant and took a couple of IUIs before they got pregnant. They struggled for years. She is also having a rough pregnancy and still has MS at 30 weeks. Her twin sister is now pregnant and was bragging that she got pregnant on the first try. No one in the family is siding with my BFF and have been telling her that she is too sensitive. If I were her I would kill my sister.

@maebee87 I did find the heartbeat on the doppler yesterday at 8+6. I just had an ultrasound so I knew the general area where baby was. They don't typically try until 10 ish weeks at the doctor's office.

Upcoming appointments this week? Not until February 3rd when I'm 13 weeks.

Any new symptoms or changes? Not as tired anymore...A bit of a mild cramp that comes and goes. Sill get nausea if I dont eat enough in the morning.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Hoping my mild cramp that comes and goes on my left side is normal. Started yesterday and I've been tempted to call my ob to make sure it's normal.

I'm having extreme cramping and pain in lower right abdomen and groin-hopefully that just means baby is growing! Dr. didn't seem too worried and nothing abnormal (bleeding) going on.

I can't sleep, at all, it's making me moody and kind of depressed. Hopefully this weekend will be a good recharge.
