I'm officially done with my Progesterone suppositories. I started them at 3w6d. I'm so hoping some of my nausea will go with them. Anyone else been on Progesterone and now done, or counting the days?

@a2003tiger wahoo how great! I'm jealous. I still have at least 2 more weeks to go or more based on whenever it looks like my placenta is taking over. Were you doing vaginal progesterone? Does taking progesterone usually increase nausea? Enlighten me!!

I was doing vaginal. Any progesterone (even natural) can cause nausea. Usually the suppositories don't cause as much as the pills, but I'm still hoping!

How will they know when your placenta takes over? My OB had me go to 12 weeks because of my history, normally he'd stop around 10.

Oh man, I'm hoping too. My OB said she'd check via U/S around 10 wks to check in whatever doctory way they do. She said either 10 or 12 wks for me as well, but I'm going to ask to go till 12 bc of my history as well so it will be after my NT scan is done on the high tech fancy U/S machine.

I got to stop mine too! It's such a relief! So glad I don't have to deal with it anymore. Mine made me have terrible insomnia...days without sleep. It was awful!

Oh I can't wait to stop them - these suppositories are so yucky! I've been on them since Nov 20th (right after an IUI) and I'm so over it! I think the placenta has taken over for me, my energy is back up. My RE said that the placenta can take over anytime between 9 weeks and 12 weeks, I'll be asking on Thursday when I can go off them but I think it's at 12 weeks.

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. The doctor said 12 weeks but "if you run out you don't have to go and refill the RX at 11.5" which in my head gave me permission to stop somewhere in the middle of week 11.

I seriously can't wait, I've been so sick and I'm hoping it helps with the nausea too.
