Not feeling great. Last week the puking started and am now puking every morning. Also woke up in the middle of the night with bad period like cramps on one side. Seems to better today - still cramping, but less pain. Sucks because we were going to do a Facebook announcement today, but now DH is scared and wants to wait a few more days to make sure everything is ok.
@Kathryn0903 Hopefully your cramping goes away soon. Pregnancy is such a head trip. I've been cramping on and off too and had terrible cramping the day before we announced to family. I felt terrible the morning of the announcement but was happy afterwards and seeing the joy in my family's faces made the cramping not suck as bad.
I just started having really bad nausea when I am a little bit hungry. I went from not hungry to almost hungry-puking in what seemed like one minute. DH almost had to pull over the car so I could hurl out the window. Thankfully munching on apples has kept the nausea at bay. I just have to be constantly eating.
This isn't really a symptom but I've lost 8lbs since getting my BFP. Is anyone else losing weight? I feel like my metabolism is going crazy. Maybe it's because I've made a conscious effort to eat breakfast everyday and have been eating small, frequent meals? I'm going to ask my OB about it on Thursday but I feel that 8lbs is too much weight loss (that is 5% of my body weight in 4 weeks).

@Kathryn0903 I've had period like cramping basically every single day since my BFP but my ultrasounds have all been good... I know it's hard but try to think that the growing baby and uterus can cause cramping, too! Plus, sometimes sleeping in a certain positions can make your growing muscles sore and get cramps from that! Positive vibes!
@BlackNYellow@mokay19 it makes me feel ether that you guys have had the cramping too. I've had 2 ultrasounds already and heard the heartbeat Thursday, so I just have to keep thinking about that.
@Blackandyellow I lost about 5lbs in the two weeks after my bfp. I think it was due to stopping drinking and general food aversions.
Now that my appetite is back I've put a few of those lbs back on. I do feel like metabolism is kicking itself into high gear though- which is causing me to be hungry all the time.
Last week my insomnia turned into exuastion and I'm struggling with "only" getting 9 hours of sleep. I really could have easily slept until noon today.
I'm still cramping like a mo-fo, except now it feels like stretching instead of period cramps.
My skin is really dry and broken out all over. I can't use most of my normal skin stuff and it sucks.

Clearly we like to rush along at lightning speed...
@Kathryn0903, I've had bad cramping throughout this entire pregnancy too (I'm 10w2d and have had it since I got my BFP at 3w1d). Apparently I have a cyst on my ovary which is partially to blame, but my doctor said it's totally normal and unless there is blood, not to worry. Easier said than done, I still panic about it, haha. Fingers crossed that it's just our bellies expanding to make a good home for our little babes!
I hate food. All of it. If something sounds good one minute, it is disgusting the next. If it's not disgusting, then I end up puking. I can't wait to not feel naseaus anymore. At least the exhaustion is kind of manageable since I stay at home.
With all you ladies on the cramps. They come and go now, but man they are annoying. The whole "yay no period for awhile" quickly turned into "I feel like I end had my period for a month."
Nausea still. Constantly working on how to make it better, because it feels like something works one day and not the next!
Forgot the boob pain and tenderness. If it seriously weren't so cold here, I'd debate going topless around the house all day. I am down to wearing only comfy bra tanks and sports bras, but even those are starting to hurt my ladies. I wish it was more acceptable to go without a bra in public. I could probably getaway with it since it's sweater season, but am not daring enough to do it. Maybe I will change my mind d by the time summer rolls around.
The gas and constipation are the worst right now. I sneezed laying down the other night and thought I ripped in half - Midwife said that's round ligament pain. I'm just sore in my middle - between the gas, not being able to make a bowel movement, round ligament pain and then if my bladder is full...but my energy has been consistently up for more than a week now which has really been great.

All you ladies who are SAH Moms and watching LO's with these symptoms are champs. I feel lucky that all I have to do is show up to work and act like I'm getting something done. Nobody is really relying on me to survive lol. Claps for all of y'all!!
I literally have a rotating ring of symptoms. Constipation, nausea, gas bubbles, tired, dizzy, diarrhea, repeat. I'm scared because I thought it would mellow out by now but here I am at 11 weeks with no end in sight. On the bring side I have only gotten sick once in the past 3 weeks and it was due to taking Tylenol for a migraine. But really, no ibuprofen is killing me right now. 18 hours later and this headache is still going strong!
I do not remember feeling this rough with my son. The fatigue is constant. I'm pretty queesy, but thankfully that seems to be easing up a little. What's really got me down is the migraines. I get them normally, but now I can't take my prescription. Any ideas on how to fend them off?
It's comforting to hear others talk about cramping. It's freaking me out! It's very on and off but it scares the hell out of me when it happens. I have my second ultrasound on Friday so I'm just praying everything still looks ok.
Other than the cramping, exhaustion and crazy boob tenderness is still holding on. On and off nausea. Some days I feel totally normal, other days all I wanna do is puke. And on days that I do feel normal, I'm hungrier than a mo fo. Also, diarreah. I know it's better than constipstion, but I would love a normal poop at least once!
@southernmama15@mango517 oh thank you. I never thought about the empty calories from (alcoholic or not) as a reason that I could not lose weight before...maybe I should get rid of coffee and beer permanently

More of the same here. Not hungry, not hungry, then hungry but can't decide what to eat because the idea of anything is gross. Raw meat especially has been an issue so cooking dinner has been problematic. I've napped a lot this week when I've got home from school.
Also, acne has started to pop up. My skin is prone to acne anyways but I'm breaking out as I typically did before my period.
I literally have a rotating ring of symptoms. Constipation, nausea, gas bubbles, tired, dizzy, diarrhea, repeat.
@budzynb I've been dealing with very similar symptoms for the past week. It's horrible and is typically after dinner but sometimes a few times a day. Not dizzy though. Ugh, totally feel your pain
Can't decide whether upper abs hurting/feeling stretched has to do with my cold and all the recent coughing (totally an ab workout, and the cough is ikely gonna stay for at least another week), OR if it's because my abs are stretching for baby reasons.
My core isn't particularly strong anymore, and at 10+2 I think the blump is more muscle tone decreasing than gas or baby. But this upper ab thing is kinda uncomfortable, and I'm not so thrilled.
I'm the moodiest! Everything my daughter does irks me. I feel like she's louder and bounces more then before and she's generally good kid. Just a pro at pushing all the button now. I'm trying so hard to remember that she's a kid and she needs me so I make special time for her and try to do some fun stuff even just at home, but when she doesn't let me take a nap after I'm so moody and cranky. Must stay cool and calm and get it together. Hopefully I can juggle them better when they are both here, but right now pregnancy exhaustion is kicking my butt. Thankful that it's my worst symptom. I do have random nausea and cramping and gas pains and constant peeing and soreness, but nothing major.
The good news is my husband is a saint all of a sudden. Not that he was ever bad but we have the common spouse complaints and nagging from me. I haven't had a crabby thought towards him lol. Must be because I'm so thankful to see him and get a break. I feel so lucky.
I have had three days of headaches that last about 8!hours. They start in the early afternoon and stay until I can finally fall asleep. Drinking more water is not helping so I tried two tylenols tonight. I'm not big on meds so you know I'm desperate. I also used my shiatsu neck massager.
I've read that they can be caused by hormones (what isn't in pregnancy???) anyone else dealing with this. I'm absolutely miserable at this point.
@MatteaGabrielle I'm super moody too. Also super weepy. I'm either really angry/aggravated or crying. My emotional rollercoaster is kinda exhausting. And I really struggle to have an appetite
@morgy_bee - I've been having a lot of trouble with them. Hormones are the problem for me. Make sure you bring it up to your OB. There's more you can do under the direction of your OB. You want to make sure they don't lead to migraines as well. The Tylenol is good - I don't like taking it either but the benefits out weight the negatives. It's safe to take as directed on the bottle - being miserable sucks. I'm on two weeks with two migraines.

@morgy_bee and @JWatt5 I'm right there with you ladies. Tylenol just doesn't cut it- I've been laying on ice packs through the night with still little relief. We have had tons of rain recently and the pressure changes are really not helping. Hope y'all feel better soon!!
This pregnancy has been more awful in terms of symptoms than with my son. I'm nauseous all the time, meat + protein makes me sick, I'm exhausted so much after work, I'm hurling like all the time, yesterday was my first dose of diarrhea which was out of nowhere. I'm seriously getting beat up and I'm only just approaching week 10 (in 2 days). Counting down the days to 2nd trimester!
Nausea, bloating, fatigue, and acne are still full blown. I'm a couple days away from being 12 weeks, so I am just praying it gets better soon! Food aversions seem like they have been getting worse, because the only things I could keep down were chipotle, french fries, and mashed potatoes, and now I am really getting sick of eating those things.
Lately, I've been having some bad stomach pains almost immediately after eating. They're like painful knots in my stomach. Anyone else feeling these? I'm eating small meals but a bowl of cereal or even toast has brought it on.
@morgy_bee I've have days with strings of headaches too. Nothing going helped. Tylenol did help me move around a little. They went away after away our days or something though. Was miserable.
@erindippity I just yell things now and I've never been a big yeller. Normally just my stern mom voice when she acts up. Hopefully she forgives me for my short fuse. I'm just so tired.
@LadyDi711 me too, I've had them before becoming pregnant and I believe it's just bad gas pain combined with acid indigestion - but Gas-x doesn't touch it for me. Only thing to do is curl up and massage my stomach area and after a few hours it seems to go away on its own. But soo painful when it happens!
I've had a cold all week (normally I would've popped some dayquil and gone on with my life) which seems to be overpowering my pregnancy symptoms. Morning sickness is minimal, all-day fatigue has lessened, breasts are still sore but not constantly aching. I seemed to have peaked in my symptoms a week early (8 instead of 9). But now I'm trying so hard not to panic that that means something is wrong New symptom: a tugging pain near my cervix, possible round ligament pain since it goes off to one side sometimes.

My appetite is out of control, so I'm focusing on eating more protein with meals, so that I'm fuller for longer.

Stupid heartburn.
I'm really bloated and gassy. I got my appetite back but now I'm struggling to curb it! Really tired all of the time.
