1. How far along are you? 32 weeks 6 days

2. Next appointment/any milestone you're looking forward to? I have an OB appointment tomorrow and have my baby shower on Saturday!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Had our childbirth class this past Saturday- it was a long day but I learned a lot and even though you are never fully prepared for labor, I do feel a little less anxious about it. I feel good about the place I have chosen to give birth and that I will be in good hands and that DH will be a very supportive labor coach for me....he is definitely the calm, collected one which I need! We watched a few birth videos (not anything too crazy graphic) but found myself crying during it because I was just so overcome with emotion seeing these women meeting their babies for the first time and imagining me meeting my rainbow baby after all I've been through. I just can't wait until this day!!!

4. GTKY: If you had to describe yourself in five words, what would they be? Loyal (I would do anything for my friends or people I love and always have people's back no matter what), Honest (sometimes I feel I'm a little too honest- never afraid to speak my mind and tell it how it is), Creative, Organized and Caring (sometimes its hard for me to warm up to people but once I do, you will find I have the biggest heart!)

@spartanrd4 I am worried about being SUPER emotional through the whole class! Mine is this Saturday. I was choking back tears through the maternity tour several weeks ago..... I hope your shower is everything you hoped for and more this weekend!!

2. Next appointment/any milestone you're looking forward to? Childbirth class on Saturday & nursey furniture delivery on the 28th!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My neighbors threw a shower for me & another neighbor yesterday. It was lovely. I am amazed I was able to keep it together!! Not so much as I reading some of the books we were gifted while writing thank you notes this morning!

4. GTKY: If you had to describe yourself in five words, what would they be? Loyal, caring, unique (I have always had a little flair & never cared much about whether I went with the norm), emotional (I feel deeply), & a well rounded (I think I know a good deal about a lot of things. Both arts and sciences).

@MrsBinPA I am glad you had a great shower yesterday. I hope I don't get too emotional at mine but seeing how I have been lately who knows! Good luck at your child birth class...I found mine to be a really good experience despite the tears, I hope it is for you too!

@Spartanrd4 I think that I will have more trouble keeping it together at my actual shower with family & friends. The one this weekend was a little easier because none of my neighbors are THAT emotionally invested in me and our rainbow! I think when shower weekend comes on Feb 18th there will be a LOT of tears. My BFF is coming from FL and hasn't seen me in ages. She is already warning me that she is going to cry the minute she sees me....which will make me cry.

@spartanrd4 I found myself having to hold back the tears several times during our childbirth class too! I'm such a sap these days.

2. Next appointment/any milestone you're looking forward to? Had an appointment yesterday, everything seems to be going well. Got the Tdap vaccine and my arm kills!!!

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Looking forward To my shower this weekend but went down a PGAL shame spiral today. After watching This Is Us I googled chance of Still Birth and started fretting about what we'll do with all the nursery stuff if something happens. I hate how I still get in these negative loops sometimes.

4. GTKY: If you had to describe yourself in five words, what would they be? Ginormous, gassy, nauseous, anxious, and so damn THANKFUL!

@BaylieGirl I have my shower this weekend too and definitely some PGAL thoughts went through my head that I would be the center of attention about the baby and get all these gifts and then something bad would happen. Hope you are still able to enjoy your special day

@BaylieGirl I get in those negative loops sometimes too, especially as the end is getting sooooo close. My husband is really good at snapping me out of them; I hope you have someone in your life who can do the same

2. Next appointment/any milestone you're looking forward to? My baby shower on Saturday! Excited to see all the cute clothes my little boy will get to wear! And I did a guilty sneak-peek at my registry so I know someone bought me the crib bedding I really wanted, which means I get to finish up the nursery next week.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My husband was in the ER yesterday. It turns out he passed a kidney stone and has a bunch more to go. I will be really annoyed if our life turns into a Friends episode and he misses the birth of our baby while he's in another hospital room passing kidney stones.

4. GTKY: If you had to describe yourself in five words, what would they be? Hmmm... probably curious, quiet, creative, stress-case (haha, sad but true), and patient.

@EnglishTeacherMama Sorry about your husband going to the ER! I have had 2 kidney stones (actually my 2nd one was 1 week after I had my D&C after my loss so talk about double whammy!) so I know they suck big time. Hope your baby shower is lovely- I have mine tomorrow too
