How far along are you? 14 weeks

How big is baby? Lemon

Upcoming appointments this week? I have an appointment with my OB tomorrow.

Any new symptoms or changes? I am a lot more sensitive to smells - especially if 1 of our cats poops in the litter box - I have to spray air freshener or it's game over for me lol.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Yesterday was my 1st day of my 8 day vacation from work! Woohoo!

I got a call from the nurse at the Maternal Fetal Care Center (specialty clinic - referred there by OB because of mine and DH's heart conditions at birth) saying that the blood test results were great. Everything we want to be negative is negative & the risk of down syndrome is 1 in 6,100 and the risk of Trisomy 18 is 1 in 10,000. Having a pretty good day so far

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? I am sure there's several of them that I am still unaware of but I would probably have a podcast about firearms (very vague I know but I haven't decided how I would narrow it down lol).

Edit: added the part about the call from the nurse.

Any new symptoms or changes? Morning sickness is almost gone and I've been hard craving veggies!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just hoping everyone has a great week and feels better/great.

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? It would be callled : I just want to left alone if you're going to be an A-hole.

Seriously that's just how my heart is telling me to feel.

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? I'm too lame right now have a podcast haha I guess it would be about the daily excitements of my three fur-babies lol I have 2 cats and a yellow lab. They definitely keep me entertained!

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, next!

Any new symptoms or changes? I felt SO good last week but I made up for it this weekend. I felt like trash Saturday and Sunday. I was exhausted and vomiting again. Today is going better so far, but I'm going to be lazy again.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We toured our first daycare today! Had no clue what questions to ask but it was nice to see. I have one more I want to look at, too. Obviously we want a good daycare but we also want to find a place that doesn't charge the weekly fee in the summer bc DH is a teacher and will keep baby home. The one we looked at today is a great center and just charges a $500 fee in summer.

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? Oh gosh. I'm not a big podcast person, but I'd probably go in with @schreefel and talk about the trouble my dogs get into.

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? Hmm this is a good question! I feel like mine would be either music (mostly old music - funk, soul, R&B) or urban gardening. I feel like lately it would be "what weird pregnancy things are happening today?" lol.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have my NT Scan today.

Any new symptoms or changes? I've been a little dizzy lately. I'm hoping I will be less fatigued in the future now that I'm out of the 1st trimester.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm so happy to be out of the 1st trimester!!

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? It would discuss my favorite reality TV shows like Survivor, Real Housewives, and Teen Mom.

Upcoming appointments this week? No, but we did set an appointment for a 4D Ultrasound on February 1 and I can't wait!!

Any new symptoms or changes? Just a general lack of get up and go. But I'm not even sure I can blame that on the pregnancy, haha.

Rants/Raves/Questions? None at the moment, but I'll probably think of something randomly at a very inconvenient time.

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? Oh geez. Either talking about The Bachelor, or other shows I watch?

Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing until 2/3, but had NT scan on 1/14 and will get the results in 3-5 days. Baby was sleeping during scan so didn't get to see a lot of movement. The u/s tech tried to wake him/her up, but no luck. We did see the kidneys, bladder, and brain on the u/s though! Very cool.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing to report. Morning sickness is manageable now as long as I keep snacks with me and eat small meals every few hours.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing ATM!

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? Probably something to do with crafting and life in general. I love crafts!

How big is baby? Plum, 2.1 inches long from crown to rump

Upcoming appointments this week? The 18th, ultrasound. Yay!

Any new symptoms or changes? Showing a bit more, hubby can tell. No kicks yet, but can feel "squirmy" in there just a little bit when laying on my tummy.

GTKY: If you were to have a podcast, what would the subject matter be / what would you call it? It would be called "what does it matter to you whether my child is a girl or boy?" I would be thrilled with either. And "no, it's not twins, stop asking me that."

Upcoming appointments this week? Yep! Wednesday the 18th I go for my NT scan.

Any new symptoms or changes? Headaches. The headaches are officially starting. My nausea is wearing off at least. I've had dizzy spells off and on too.

@CarsonsMommy Right?! I almost went to August instead when I first joined, but my DD came 3 weeks early. I felt better about July. Haha. Mine is at 2:30p. When is yours?

@CarsonsMommy, omg that annoying twins crap. I actually had to tell a close friend to knock it off. She kept saying it like twins would be better. Um I'm 36 and we were mere days away from starting meds for egg retrieval for IVF when we found I was pregnant. We are so thankful to have one healthy baby. I find it super annoying how my friend makes it seem like that's not enough. Plus, I don't know how much more clear I can be, it's one (1) singular baby. I've had 4 ultrasounds, we are sure. Grrrr.

@PurplePoppy424 it is at 3:30, but since I switched OBs, it is just a second dating ultrasound, not quite as detailed as a NT scan. But still get to see the little one, so I'm excited for that. I almost did the same, as DS came two weeks late, and man was he STICKY, did not want to vacate, but I kinda grew to like this crunchy group of ladies

that and I will be scheduled for a CS, but I am going to request that it is done later rather than sooner. I am convinced that my little dude is so perfect because he extra time to cook for those final touches!

Eta: I kinda find it funny that this board is mentioned so much on June board. Like we are a circus or something.

@CarsonsMommy I'm going for the big NT scan. I'm hoping this one stays put longer than its sister. She had some breathing issues when she first came out. Couldn't tell it now, though! She's going to be 3 next month and she's perfect. I'd like to skip all the drama though. I'm also hoping for a vbac, but we'll see. I'm not stressing about it.

OMG I know! I come from pre-exodus days. Nothing I've seen on this board is worthy of all that discussion. Lol
