Diarrhea

is diarrhea a sign of a miscarriage? I've had constipation on and off and now I went to the bathroom and it's runny. Sorry TMI I'm 8 weeks 2 days. I'm not bleeding or spotting. I did however have period like cramps for the last few days :/

    On and off diahrea is a sign I am pregnant. Don't stress. The cramps probably have to do with your bowels.

    Yup, its totally normal. Ive had the runs on and off in the first tri of both my pregnancies.

    TMI...I hope not because I just had a whole lot of it yesterday... I am actually going to have my first u/s today. Can't wait to see him/her!

    I had it all the time when I first found out I was pregnant, now I can't go for days at a time. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow, enjoy going while you still can ;)

    2nd pregnancy, 2nd time with explosive diarrhea. I've lost 7 pounds this time.  I started taking probiotics and they are seeming to help

    Unfortunately operatic changes in bowels seem to just be a first trimester perk--boo! I had diarrhea before my bfp a few times immediately after eating then around 5-6 weeks I was constipated all the time and miserable. Then I went to constipated in the afternoon/evening to explosive diarrhea as soon as I woke up for weeks 6-8. I'm 9w4d now and back to mostly constipated and very gassy which sometimes causes sharp pains in my abdomen because it's like gas that can't escape bc it's caused by constipation. That has lead to feeling full and bloaty and overall crappy. Some days if it's especially bad I'll have a benefiber drink mix to help myself along, had one last night around dinner but still no bm, just gassy and full feeling. My "safe for pregnancy" list of drugs had Imodium listed for diarrhea, I haven't tried it but they said it's safe and there was no "after x weeks" restriction.

    Lurking from September 2017- I experienced diarrhea this weekend also.  I just don't know if I ate something bad or if it is pregnancy related.  Plus the nausea and not wanting food on top of it right now just plain stinks. I am 6+2.

    I've had a lot of stomach problems this week as well. I'm 8 weeks.

    Aren't hormone changes wonderful!?  ;) I agree with @lindstothee the diarrhea is way better than the constipation I got days following it. I'd take diarrhea any day over the constipation. Enjoy   :D

    I'm so jealous of the diarrhea! (There's a sentence I never thought I'd say) I was constipsted my entire pregnancy with ds, and looks like this one will be the same too. Ugh. I was so excited after ds was born and they kept giving me laxatives to go before I left the hospital. It was amazing!
