Disappearing Symptoms

Hey ladies (especially STM+) - looking for some reassurance. I am 11w4d today. Around about 10 and a half weeks I noticed a lot of my symptoms gone. I know others have posted about symptoms never being present but mine we present and then not there anymore. I'm just wondering when all of your symptoms started going away. Is this too early? I have my first ultrasound on Friday so I am trying to not freak out too much until then, but I can't help questioning if I should be more worried.

Re: Disappearing Symptoms

  • At 10-12 weeks the baby and placenta take over a lot of the work so it's suuuper common for all that stuff to let up around that time. That's why many women with morning sickness only have it in the first tri. What symptoms specifically are now gone? I would assume your breasts may be less sore, less nauseous, less exhausted? All very common mama ;) breathe. You are just fine I'm sure <3

  • Mine went away just a few days ago, right around 11w. Haven't vomited in 5 days
  • Agree with @dmbfan46835 you're at the tail end of the first tri, so it's normal for things to level off at this point as the placenta takes over.

I also have had a ton of symptoms, but am noticing they change as time goes on. What I have symptom wise one week is not a guarantee for the next one.  When I get nervous I take a moment to really think about how my body is doing, that's when I notice how I'm still experiencing symptoms but they're just new ones.

I hope this week flys by so you can get some peace of mind at Friday's appointment!

  • @dmbfan46835 Yes, my breasts aren't sore at all and I haven't felt nauseous at all either since then. The only thing that seems to remain even a little is the exhaustion (but I've always been an exhausted person! Haha). Thank you for your reassurance!
  • All normal mama! Im 9w1d and ive noticed over the last 3 days the nausea hasnt been so bad. Enjoy feeling better!
