How are you doing? Pretty good! Started to wean off my Diclegis last night, and feeling ok today (so far - I've been more of an "evening sickness" kind of gal)
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Early anatomy scan was this morning - little guy looks good!

How far along are you? 17+2
How are you doing? Pretty good! As I've already mentioned in another thread, I finally got a Doppler so my mind is at ease for now!
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Next appointment is on Wednesday for a regular check up. I however am looking forward to feeling this LO move (and know for sure that it's her).
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: rant: I was supposed to get the countertop in my master bath resurfaced today- it's 4:30 and the guy still hasn't shown up
GTKY: What's the best book you've read or movie/TV show you've watched lately?
I have been binge watching Beauty and the Beast on Netflix lately. Not sure if it'll be everyone's cup of tea but it entertains me while DH isn't home!
How are you doing? Feeling good, I think I have felt a few baby moments, but nothing consistent.
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Anatomy scan 1/24. Everything has been going well so far, and I think once I hopefully see that everything is ok I will be done stressing....or will I?
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I have been training someone at work and she is driving me crazy. She keeps asking the same things day after day and clearly is not taking notes. Hoping I only have a few more days of this. I don't know how you teachers do it... I don't have the most patience when someone is not catching on and is clearly not doing everything they can to be successful in learning.
GTKY: What's the best book you've read or movie/TV show you've watched lately? It just went to a break, but I have really been enjoying Designated Survivor.
@MKRLTX My mantra in that kind of situation is "I can't want it more than they want it". Meaning I do my best training then and if they don't want to get all the info, that's on them. They're an adult. Good luck!!
been a couple of weeks since posting in PGAL but I'm back! How far along are you? 18+3
How are you doing? Symptom-wise really good! No negative symptoms. I'm feel like I'm showing more every day, and think I've been feeling the LO move, although its not super consistent.
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? I have my anatomy scan in 2 weeks. Really looking forward to finding out the sex. Also feeling a little nervous. NT scan looked good, but I didn't do any NIPT so I still feel like there could still be some unexpected surprises. Over all I am so much more optimistic then I was in the first tri though!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Someone posted on Nextdoor about some baby related things they were getting rid of, and I swooped in on them. Not only did I score some free stuff, but I also met a really awesome mom that lives a block away from me. And she connected me with the mom's group in our hood. We moved to this neighborhood about a year ago, and it doesn't seem super kid friendly, so I'm really excited to connect with other parents!
GTKY: What's the best book you've read or movie/TV show you've watched lately? Recently discovered Tana French as an author, and I really liked her newest book. @c1tym0m22 I loved Sherlock! And I'm even more behind the times then you. I'm currently watching West Wing- how did I miss this show when it first came out?
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Appointment on Friday to check placental placement. Because of the bleeding I've had they want to check it. I've gotten an ultrasound with a portable machine but the picture wasn't clear enough for them to tell. They think it "may" be partially over my cervix.

How are you doing? Really good. I have felt the baby move at least once a day for a week now and that is HUGE for my confidence that all is going well.
Next appointment?Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to? Was supposed to have one today but had to cancel due to bad roads and inability to make it on time. It was moved to tomorrow. Now that I have started feeling baby, I am less excited and anxious to hear the heartbeat as before but I am especially looking forward to this appointment because I will get to finally schedule the anatomy scan!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: While I am VERY excited for the anatomy scan to be able to see the baby on screen for an extended amount of time, and also to find out the sex, but I am getting more nervous every day about the health of the baby. I am just so anxious to know that all is well. With me being 35, I just have all these new fears that I didn't have before that something will be wrong with the baby. I didn't do NIPT for this reason so now I'm just getting super nervous about it.
GTKY: What's the best book you've read or movie/TV show you've watched lately? I started and finished the Parenthood series early in 2016 and I don't think I will ever find a show that I love as much as I loved that one! I have hesitated to start Gilmore Girls because I have a feeling I will love it and I will obsess over watching it all in an embarrassing and unreasonably short amount of time.
I just started reading Dark Places by Gillian Flynn and it is very appropriately titled because it has a super dark beginning! I have enjoyed two of her other books and I know how dark they are, but wow, I am trying to decide if I even want to continue this one. Anyone read it?

@JAGinMI I read dark places- it's been a while, but yeah, I remember it being a difficult read. If you read her book about the girl that cuts herself, I think it was on par to that, definitely more dark then gone girl. On another note, I second your love of Parenthood! So good!

GTKY: What's the best book you've read or movie/TV show you've watched lately? @c1tym0m22 YES Sherlock is amazing. I'd forgotten just how great it is till I watched the season premiere.
My husband and I binge watched a show on Netflix called "Travelers." It wasn't the best show I've ever seen but it was pretty decent and held our attention. My husband doesn't like many TV shows and it's rare that we find something he enjoys enough to watch with me for more one or two episodes.
Me: 28 Husband: 31 TTC#1: January 2015- September 2016 Infertility, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Rainbow baby born June 6, 2017 ❤️
@NamelessAria Going gender neutral for me still leads to lots of blues, greens and yellows. I'm not sure what others think, but the way they look to me look perfectly fine for a little girl too. I'm not finding out til Feb 1st, but I'm excited!
@lizerspitz Yeah I hear you on still ending up with a lot of blues and greens. So far the cloth diapers I've gotten are an aqua blue, this winter wood, and this woodland print (the one with the forest animals).
My husband has his heart set on painting the nursery this grey-blue color. It leans a little more blue in person. And then doing the furniture white. I've seen some people take blue and white and make it girly. And obviously blue and white would work pretty well for a boy.
edit to try to fix some links

@lizerspitz and @NamelessAria yay for cute baby fluff! I actually just bought some girly prints last night. I was going to wait for "confirmation" today that she's a girl but my favorite co-op had an on hands sale. So I had to take advantage because I gave all but 4 away to a mama in need last year.

How are you doing? Great except I'm still super emotional. I feel like earlier in pregnancy I was in such a worried anxious state that it kept the extra emotions at bay a little. Now that I'm believing this will actually happen, I'm crying at EVERYTHING.

My husband and I binge watched a show on Netflix called "Travelers." It wasn't the best show I've ever seen but it was pretty decent and held our attention. My husband doesn't like many TV shows and it's rare that we find something he enjoys enough to watch with me for more one or two episodes.

My husband has his heart set on painting the nursery this grey-blue color. It leans a little more blue in person. And then doing the furniture white. I've seen some people take blue and white and make it girly. And obviously blue and white would work pretty well for a boy.

How are you doing?
Great except I'm still super emotional. I feel like earlier in pregnancy I was in such a worried anxious state that it kept the extra emotions at bay a little. Now that I'm believing this will actually happen, I'm crying at EVERYTHING.
Next appointment? Or, alternatively, next milestone you're looking forward to?
Next week with OB, then should get sent for an anatomy scan after that!
Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Rant: work has been extra crazy and stressful lately and in my emotional state, I'm crying from it all almost daily.
Rave: So happy that everyone is at/approaching the halfway mark and loving that all these June babies are getting their names, nurseries, and comforts picked out!
GTKY: What's the best book you've read or movie/TV show you've watched lately
I've been watching Designated Survivor, which is currently on a break but I've really been enjoying the mix of politics and investigation in it.
