Any Canadian mamas?

Hi I am Hayley, I live in Prince George BC and am due September 9 with my second.

My last pregnancy I was in a Facebook group with about 15 other mamas from all over Canada. It was a great place to share our joys and questions etc. 

Anyone interested in this?

    But did you really come to a group for pregnant women to solicit strangers to make a more exclusive group for pregnant women? You've never posted here before, so why don't you introduce yourself in the intro thread, and then stick around and get to know people first.

    Honestly don't mean to offend anyone, I just noticed last time around when I did follow many threads there was a large focus on Americans. 

    The group i joined previously was started early pregnancy and was a lot easier to follow. If your not interested that is ok.

    I wasn't offended, I just think it's odd for you to come here as a compete stranger and want people to join a Facebook group with you. It seems little suspect.

    Southern Ontario here. looks like you've been lurking for a while. With my first we made a super popular facebook group as well and I would love to have a Canadian one, especially for Drs appointments and what not since they are a little different I've found, but i think it is a little early. The GTYK pages are hard because there is sooo many to scroll through it get's confusing. I love having a separate thread for Canadians.

    SW Ontario here too! I agree it's all different up here. I don't remember ever hearing about my HCG or progesterone levels and didn't get blood taken until much later (I think)! I'm on the fence about a FB group, but appreciate this thread!

    YAY! Ontario! Yea, with DS and being on here I had no idea half the testing and things that were going on. Facebook group is good close to the end especially when the baby is actually here and we've had 9/10 months to get to know each other. @MyNamesTaken

    I'm in eastern Ontario, Ottawa area. Last time in N13 I had no fellow Canadian mamas so this makes me happy to see a few!!

    Nova Scotia here! I love hearing about the Canadian perspective because it is so different what we have to go through.

    Quebec here! Would be fun to have our own thread (maybe in the form of a weekly check-in or something), but I wouldn't do a Facebook group because I'm paranoid about privacy.

    BC here and FTM, 34 but 35 in March so I'm wondering if they'll consider me AMA. Anyone know what tests are usually covered/performed? My first appointment is Monday so I'm sure I'll find out a lot then but just trying to prepare myself with what to ask etc.
