GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here?
we still need to put up the bassinet in our room (my SIL had a baby in November and just recently started transitioning her LO into the crib) and so we will get to that when she gives it back to us next week. We also need to buy a diaper bag. I was so sure I knew where our old one was but I looked for it this week and for the life of me have no clue where it ended up! I also need to sterilize the pump and the parts.

Everything seems to suggest bebe should be chilling more often, which they are. BUT when they want to party it's at night and I'm woken up by incredibly strong and painful jabs and wriggles. I also cannot for the life of me tell what's a kick or a punch. I'm in awe of others who know exactly what body part is where, because I couldn't even begin to guess. Like, I think I feel the back/bum along the right side of my stomach, but it seems way too wriggly to be a butt. I dunno.
GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here?
I need to pre-register at the hospital, get sheets on the crib, pack a hospital bag, and pick up a small stash of NB diapers (we are planning to CD, but are using disposables for the first couple of weeks).
My fingers are starting to hurt from checking my blood sugar. I know I shouldn't complain because there are ladies that have been at it much longer than me but I really hate it.

The most important thing is we have to get a car seat! My shower is next weekend so we'll buy it after that. I also have to get a glider, curtains, and some prints for the walls of the nursery but that's not immediate and baby won't even be in there for a while so it can wait.

I felt serious pressure a couple days ago, and since Dr said I'm 1 cm... but I'm still assuming I have a couple weeks. My other 2 kids were born at 39 + a couple days so I've just figured this one will be similar.
strep B test is finally over!!! Lol but I didn't get lucky in a good way and the butt was swabbed. I'm done complaining about it now though

I have an endless list but the most important things are getting me a stash of pads, and nursing pads, getting a diaper bag, buying more newborn or 0-3 months clothes because we didn't get a lot of that size at the showers. Washing and organizing the clothes after I buy baby detergent.... Hahaha I am using this as my checklist later but it still goes on... we also need to open the travel system to get the car seat out...
GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here? Heh heh. Oh geez. It feels like there are a ton of random things (like decorating and sanitizing and buying a few more registry leftovers), but my most dreaded is that I'll probably have to go to work at least 11 more times. I'm overly whiny about that part, lol.

GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here? So much, we don't even have the carseat yet... We were waiting until after our shower, and we need to buy a bunch of stuff still. We also need to put the crib together and wash all the things.
GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here? not much! We just have to pack the go bag and put the sheets on the crib. We're ready for baby!
GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here? so much. Wash baby clothes/ diapers, organize the nursery, put up the nursery shelves/ finish decorating. Install the carseat, buy a crib mattress, sheets and changing pad... return a bunch of clothes from the showers and buy functional clothes that will keep her warm. Pre-register at the hospital, finish our bradley classes, meet the back-up doula, clean my laundry room and kitchen...
GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here? So much, wash clothes, finish organizing the nursery, put everything together, finish buying last minute things and install the car seat. Start to think about what to pack in my hospital bag. I feel so unprepared this time around.
Size of baby? Romaine lettuce- but estimated at 5lbs 15oz on growth scan today
When is next appt? Had 37 weeks today, NST next Tuesday
Any signs of baby coming soon? Dilated 2cm already and I continue contracting so maybe. I am fine with whatever at this point
Rant/Rave/Questions? My oldest came home with lice from school yesterday. We spent 4hrs treating everyone in the house yesterday and then came home and treated another way today. So not what I wanted to be doing at 37 weeks but at least there isn't a baby to worry about too.
GTKY- Anything left to do. At this point overall baby can come and we would be fine. Car seat needs to be installed in car, but that isn't a big deal. She can come, but let's get the lice under control first.
GTKY: What do you have left to do before baby gets here? all I've done so far is take the baby clothes out of storage and wash them. This is the first time we've had our own home, so I'm excited to put a nursery together. We just haven't had the time to do it yet lol. I feel like we have plenty of time though, since the baby will stay in our room for 5 months or so. Other than that I still need to pre register at the hospital, put all the clothes away, pack my hospital bag, put the bassinet together, change the living room around so there's a spot for a baby corner and finish baby proofing. Oh and finally deep clean the house. There's alot to do!

She has def dropped and I have been getting pressure and BH but no dilation that I know of so I'm thinking we have some time still....maybe?

Wash a few more things, set up her swing, and do a cleaning of the rest of the house (I want to clean out the heaters, and fridge vent, etc). Otherwise we are good to go
