Hi!

I was adopted as an infant, closed adoption.

My birth family - my mother doesn't want any contact and I'm ok with that. I actually talk with her sister some, which is nice.

Being adopted - My mother never wanted to raise kids, it was just expected of her. So that's a big part. It wasn't a huge deal since all of us kids are adopted, but it was issue after issue with a parent who didn't want to parent. I'm not sure which issues are which.

Any tips - make dang sure you want to be a parent, please!

Thanks for sharing. I am sorry that your mom who adopted you didn't want to have kids but did because that's what was expected. That's got to be hard.

@SaphireSweetie88 - yeah, it's not fun for sure. Most of us turned out ok, but two siblings are interesting for lack of nicer terms.
