This is super petty but whatever.

I love making homemade soup. DH obviously loves reaping the benefits. He is notorious for only taking the bulk of the veggies/meat in the soup and leaving the broth behind.

After 10 years together you think he would learn to balance what he takes out of the pot or I would let it go? F no. Just scoop like a normal human, dude! Quit leaving behind 80% broth and 20% veggies/meat. Pregnancy hormones on high tonight...

I was stupid and jogged back into DD's preschool because I forgot her lunch box. I was wearing flat crappy flat boots and now my back is killing me! Stupid stupid me.

All I want is a BBQ sandwich. DH goes out to our normal place...closed on Mondays. Heads to Smithfield and they were closed too. I have no idea why. So no BBQ sandwich. DH was so sweet and told me all the other options nearby but sorry hubby it's BBQ or nothing, so sitting here hungry and annoyed.

Part of the reason I usually serve the food at our house!

Only my DH is a huge fan of broth.

Dds speech therapist quit. I didn't get a normal reminder text Sunday night so I called in the morning to confirm her appointment. I had to call 3 times to get someone to tell me that they don't have enough therapists and DD is "on hold" until they get a replacement.

Seriously is it so hard to call me and tell me that?? I didn't know her therapist quit until I called today. If I would have gone to our appointment like normal I would have been so upset.

@awoodruff27 that's so shitty! I am a pediatric OT and I can't believe they didn't tell you! I can understand the hold as they probably don't have a new SLP yet but man, I'm feeling for you.

I'm probably being kind of bitchy about this, but I'm so annoyed.

There's a woman in the self-publishing (SP) circles I hang out in. She's really successful and knows a lot about SP, so I'm in the FB group she runs and am friends with her on FB to learn from her. She's happy to share and has a LOT of knowledge...

...except she's an extreme drama queen. And she's pregnant and due at the end of August. And she will not. stop. AWing her symptoms all over the place. Morning sickness, tired, husband not helping. This isn't new--she's an epic oversharer, and I mostly just ignore it BUT FB thinks that because she's got so many friends, I want her at the top of my feed every time I log in (plus she posts about 100x a day). And it just irks me because I was sooooo tired and sick in the first trimester and did *I* post about it on FB all the time? No. Because I know better than to act like that.

But the thing that really pisses me off is how she was posting these ss's of a fight she got into with another author. Now this other author was in the wrong, but AW kept telling this woman to stop saying this and that because it was stressing her out and going to cause a MC.

Like over and over, "You have to stop arguing with me! I feel sick! I'm going to miscarry from all the stress!" As someone who has actually experienced one, fuck you, lady.

I keep thinking I'm gonna get over it, but now every time I login to FB (which I try to avoid anyway because my family won't stop posting stupid political memes), there she is, bitching some more about how no one in the history of the world has ever had such a trying first trimester as her.

Like, OK, I feel bad for her because being sick and tired and having an alcoholic husband (a little gem she shared last week) is tough, but just LAY OFF ALREADY. I have no time to feel bad for you when you're spending every waking minute reminding me that I should be feeling sorry for you.

.I'm so over my half sister! She's almost 22 and pregnant. She married the baby daddy in October (ugh!who btw has another baby mama plus an ex wife-not the same person. So we are planning her baby showe and she goes on FB and says something along the lines of "if you cause drama at my baby shower you will be asked to leave"... Wait... Hold up wtf. Who says that?!?!?! Ugh she has a lot of growing up to do in the next 2 1/2 months!

I just posted this in my rant for PGAL checkin but it definitely belongs here.... I have been training someone at work and she is driving me crazy. She keeps asking the same things day after day and clearly is not taking notes. I'm hoping I only have a few more days of this. I can feel my blood pressure rising when she asks me the same thing that I went over with her the previous two work days. I don't know how you teachers do it... I don't have the most patience when someone is not catching on and is clearly not doing everything they can to be successful in learning.

@Jendink Is your step sister related to my sister?!! I think they must have read the same life manual! My sister is getting remarried and is expecting everyone to make a big to-do over it. We still feel like he's flavor of the month... cue a major eye roll!!

@MKRLTX I answered in the other thread, too, but just remember that she's an adult and it's her choice to not learn...

My Monday beef is that I'm still sick! This bout of bronchitis can go kick rocks. Doc put me on antibiotics on Friday and I'm the same if not worse today. I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow. That's gonna suck major balls.

@CurlyMommy416, kids are never too young to be assholes. There's a kid in my DD's Kindergarten class that calls DD a 'bitch'.

Sorry about your DD, I hate school for that reason, kids are just ruthless and jerks.
