My husband is also my best friend of 18 years (married for 12yrs), so just him being him everyday is awesome. But as a bonus because he's so awesome, he picked me up Qboda twice last week!
Our pipes were frozen this morning, so he went out and bought a bunch of gallon jugs of water and was going to boil them just because he thought I might like a bath. The water started running again about a minute and a half after he finished bringing all the gallon jugs in from his car.
I feel like I totally brag on him but he deserves it. Working 2 jobs so I can stay home, also does all of the cooking, much of the cleaning. I'm so sick these past few weeks I feel so useless and have to remind myself my DS is alive and well so I'm doing something with my time! Even if much of it is from the couch
Let's me nap, fixes food just for me to make me feel better, bought a gallon size jar of pickles and 4 huge containers of cottage cheese because that is all I wanted to eat besides ice cream - plus he bought me 4 pints of ice cream. Since the store is a 2 hour drive on the iced over river...
We're in the process of moving from London to New York and he's been shouldering pretty much all of the burden. I can't thank him enough. He's so understanding about how bad I've been feeling lately and I'm in complete shock of how much, and how quickly, he's stepped up to the plate. He's never been very good with change so I wasn't expecting the best transition but I've been pleasantly surprised.
He does all the laundry. And most of the "picking up". I haven't done a load of laundry in over 7 years. He's meticulously clean and organized and I'm...well, not. He's a super involved dad and a hard worker. I'm pretty stinkin proud of the man he is!
My SO is awesome. We went to Ikea this past weekend to get some stuff to help organize our house. He spent most of the day Sunday, in the basement, putting away all the crap we had left out for months, and started to organize all the stuff. He also built all the shelving units we bought, and made dinner. Hes amazing, and just wants to make sure that im comfortable and well rested. I love him so much.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
Mine just walked 3/4 of a mile in 7'F cold to bring me food and chocolate when I couldn't eat lunch from my school cafeteria because it made me sick. Yay for an awesome hubby.
He's let me sleep in until he's had to leave for work and done every single morning feed for DD1 the last two weeks, then yesterday let me take a nap when he got home because I was exhausted and brought home 4 Krispy Kreme donuts because I was craving sugar, and then made us dinner so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Absolute rockstar.
@babyoakes my hubby did the same. Put away all the Christmas decorations and cleaned up, while I was on the couch not feeling well. He hasn't complained about anything. He's made dinner, done laundry, taken the dog for pretty much every walk. He's been awesome.
