Appointment updates? I have my AS on the 24th counting down the days!
Any new symptoms or changes? I am starting to feel heavy down there like I am carrying extra weight and obviously I am lol. Back pain has been an issue as well as leg cramps.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I have started being hungry all the time! Which is great because I was not eating a lot before and still loosing weight. I want all the pizza rolls!
GTKY: How much preparation have you done for baby? What do you want to accomplish sooner rather than later? The only thing we have done is pick the nursery color as I had planned to have the same color regardless of gender. I have bought some clothes on clearance from target and wipes and diapers during krogers mega sale (I am a big couponer) I plan to buy most of everything after our tax returns are completed because we do not have the extra 1,000 for furniture luckily my MIL has agreed to pay for either the crib or the dresser which is great.

I have definitely started gaining weight and I'm not a big fan of it. Finding a good sleep position is getting more difficult.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: People have started to tell me what the sex is based on what I look like. I don't think I'm actually showing yet so I don't really like this.
Rave: I cut 8 inches off my hair this weekend to donate.

We haven't done much. We started cleaning out the room that will be the nursery but that is pretty much it. I'm sure we will get more in to it after the anatomy scan. I want to get the nursery planned out ASAP.

I had a prenatal checkup last week and baby sounded good. My next one should be the a/s but I'm still waiting for them to call me with a date and time.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Baby moved more to the middle of my belly and now I'm feeling it a little less than I was at first which is making me nervous.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rants: I have a cold this week, boo. Also I have gained like 20 lbs already so I feel like a whale. I am one of those women who gain 50lbs during pregnancy no matter what they do. I'm not eating like a pig I promise!
GTKY: How much preparation have you done for baby? What do you want to accomplish sooner rather than later?
We just need to put the crib back together (it is still set up as a toddler bed from when DD was using it) and when we find out if it's a boy or girl I may do a few decor tweaks in the nursery. Other than that I just want to move all of DD's tiny toys (like legos and whatnot) into her room before the baby comes so they are not a choking hazard. They are currently in our living room/general toy area. Eventually I need to dig out all the baby equipment - like the rock-n-play and bouncer and carseat - from the basement and make sure it is clean and ready to go.

GTKY: How much preparation have you done for baby? What do you want to accomplish sooner rather than later? I want it all done early!! I've ordered our double stroller. We have the crib and dresser in her room. Ordered prints off Etsy and have them in frames. We bought a mobile and camera. We basically have everything but a convertible car seat (we switched DS to one when she was 5 months). Feels good to get it all done! I just bought a used glider from a friend yesterday for $100. bargain! and it goes great with the room. We are hanging clothes, etc. It should be done in a couple weeks. I was finished with my DS's nursery in the second trimester last time also and it felt good to get that done while I had the energy and before I got too big. Of course there will be last minute/third tri check list things but the major things will be done!

Appointment updates? Meeting with a cardiologist on Wednesday. The heart murmur that I had as a child has made its reappearance while pregnant! Dr. would like me to meet with a specialist. Not sure what the next steps are with that since the last time I had heart tests and ultrasounds done on that area was when I was a child.
Any new symptoms or changes? Lower back pain while sitting at my desk. DH got me a lumbar pillow so trying day one of that.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I cannot find a decent fitting, supportive and comfortable bra for my giganto boobs.
GTKY: How much preparation have you done for baby? What do you want to accomplish sooner rather than later? We are doing a major upstairs remodeling before the baby gets here (hopefully). If it doesn't happen before the baby gets here, I guess that's ok too as we are planning for the baby to be in our room the first months anyways. We are getting a beautiful crib for free from a friend that was used for only a few years. I'm usually a planner, but I figure that a baby doesn't need much anyways, and to be honest, some of the things are overwhelming. The biggest thing I guess we are "planning" right now is trying to find a day care, which is much more difficult than you think!
@kdanjou I'm getting over a cold as well. even over a week later. Per the dr, it takes even longer due to swelling in your sinus cavities while prego.

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really – getting more uncomfortable to sleep and definitely looking pregnant now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My husband went on a guys ski weekend and got back last night. This meant I had DS to myself all weekend which was exhausting. I am so ready to get home from work and not be the only one chasing a toddler and puppy.
GTKY: How much preparation have you done for baby? What do you want to accomplish sooner rather than later? We are house hunting so everything feels like it is on hold. So sooner than later I hope we find our house! I have started to gradually sort through DS1’s clothes and whatnot to remember what we have.

@kdanjou I gained like 45 lbs with DS1 – I remember reading somewhere that 25 is healthy and I was so confused. It seemed like I couldn’t have helped gaining more.

Had a regular OB check up appointment last Thursday. Heartbeat and measurements all were good. Scheduled my AS U/S for the 24th and counting the days!!!
Any new symptoms or changes?
Not really. Definitely looking very pregnant now (I pop out fast) but still getting the nausea every now and then. Having a hard time eating a healthy diet and not loading myself up with carbs and fast food

I'm feeling so stressed about getting my DS ready for baby! Everyone seems to give different advice as far as what transitions are most important to make pre-baby and it just feels like there are a lot of big changes to introduce to him before this baby comes. He is 16 months old and my biggest concern is getting him out of the crib but I am feeling very anxious about letting him freely roam the house OR just getting him to sleep in a bed. I dont know whether to buy him a toddler bed or put him in a twin bed and im still trying to decide whether or not to move him to his own bedroom or have him share with the new baby, as there are several reasons that them sharing a room would make my life a lot easier but also don't know if this would be a mistake. On top of that we want to officially take the pacifier away (he only uses it to sleep currently) AND introduce the potty. UGH!

We havent done much to prepare for this baby at all. We bought the 2 additional car seats we will need but other than that haven't done much at all! However, I also dont feel like there is a TON to do. We already have a nursery and its still set up and everything for DS so other than lugging some gear out of the attic I'm not sure there is much preparation needed.
