Shettles Method, anyone?

Did anyone use the Shettles Method to conceive their baby, or a previous baby? What did you try for? If you used it for a previous pregnancy, did it work?

*Side note, I recall this being a hot button topic (sometimes controversial) on TB in the "old" days. I'm asking because I'm curious who else used it, not looking to debate the science of it!

    Our first son was very much a surprise (I had been on BCP for 12 years). No Shettles with that one. This pregnancy we tried for a boy! I would obviously be so happy with a healthy baby boy or girl, of course. We'll see if it worked!

    I totally had to GTS Shettle's method to see what that was. We obviously didn't try to use that method. But according to Shettle's method we will be having a boy thanks to the position and timing of intercourse.

    I kind of do hope our first is a boy. I'll just be overjoyed for any healthy baby, but it would be cool if it was a son. DH already has our boy's name picked out. We never could agree on anything for girl's names.

    We kind of did. We just used an online calculator to figure when l be ovulating..we did a few days prior not exactly trying just because we wanted to lol then did it right when it said to...hoping it was the latter were seriously hoping for a boy!

    I sort of tried the Shettles method.  We timed it a few days before ovulation this time. We already have a boy so we would love to have a girl too!

    We accidentally did the shettles method and got our son, had sex one time on ovulation day (didn't know at the time, was uneducated about ovulation spotting and fertile CF and such!) and this time because I'm nursing I have NO idea when I ovulated so it will be interesting to see if we have another boy or girl. Though DH and I both want to be team green!

    I admittedly had to Google to see what it even is, so obviously I didn't... but it will be interesting to see if it worked for those of you that did!
