  DH and I are both working to be more positive. We're both bad about focusing on negative things, so we're trying not to do that as much.

  I seriously feel like I make the same ones every year: use my big girl camera more and not just my phone, be more consistent with meal planning/cooking, read through the Bible using a reading plan, spend more time reading and less time mindlessly browsing social media. 
  
  I got an Instant Pot for Christmas and it's really helped motivate me with meal planning. I also printed some cute forms off Pinterest which is even more motivating. 
  
  I finished a Bible reading plan a couple years ago, but haven't since. I'm involved in a pretty intense once a week Bible study that requires a lot of time on top of regular church stuff, but I'm movitated to do it again! So far, I'm keeping up with my plan. 
  
  I love reading but have a tendency when the kids go to bed to sit on the couch and waste time on my phone. I also tend to get "stuck" in a book that isn't really a page turner and it takes me forever. I finished the one I'd been in for ages and the one I'm in now is really good and I've been excited to open it up every night. Jumping back into fiction after this one, which is always more enticing to me. I love a good story  
  
  I haven't done so well with the camera... I use it for the kids sporting events and used it today in the snow, but I'd like to (and used to be so good at!!) use it to document our daily lives a little more routinely. 
  
  So far, so good. But, ya know. It's only Jan. 7.
