It's raining. I'm tired. LO won't go to sleep for her morning nap. DD2 burned her finger on the toaster and is refusing to get dressed. i don't want to get dressed. Did I mention it was raining? just feeling whiney this morning.
@Kate08Young oh nooooo that's awful! I hope you feel well soon. Strep is the worst!
H got me a GC to get my nails done but I'm too exhausted to get myself out of the house to actually get them done. This is a FWP to the umpteenth-degree.
DH has bronchitis and a sinus infection. He's been great about quarantining himself to the basement, but that has basically made me a single parent this week which has been rough. Baby girl also sliced her face open this morning before I could clip her nails.
Im also sad that I go back to work in 10 days.
Me:27 H:30 Till death do us part: 7.2.2011 Trying to conceive since 01.2014 Low AFC and azoospermia IVF #1 03.2016 - BFP 03.28.2016 Due: 12.05.2016
DH has to go to Indiana on a business trip tomorrow at 5:30am and he'll be gone until Friday. I'm totally freaking out about how I will take care of the baby, the chickens, the dog, and myself without totally falling to pieces. On top of that, instead of spending time with us today, DH informed me late last night that he's going to go work on a friend's truck today. So now I have to do his laundry on top of taking care of the baby, the chickens, the dog, and myself for an extra day that I hadn't planned on. Glad it's not negative temps anymore so I can at least take everyone (but the chickens) for a walk or two each day this week.
@Kate08Young can you take azythromycin? It's proven to be effective and not penicillin based. H had a one time 'allergy' to penicillin and this is what he uses now. Not entirely sure his is an allergy to penicillin or was part of his illness when he had allergy symptoms but they give him this to be safe.
H has strep, and has refused to stay away from me and the kids. Now I have it and can't take anything as I'm allergic to penicillin.
Oh no!!! I am so sorry! And I feel you, also allergic to penicillin. There are other antibiotics but it might be better to just fight it. Hot tea, chicken soup, and hugs to you.
@DiFazette that was the antibiotic that I just found out in allergic to when I had mastitis last month. I'm also allergic to Sulfa. Running out of antibiotics options here.
More probz... DD1 has been on antibiotics since last week for a dbl ear infection. She's been seemingly totally fine until today when she woke up from her nap with a fever. Ughhh. I just want everyone to be healthy and normal. I'm paranoid now because she's been so affectionate toward the baby. Wah.
I'm down 30 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight, which is an awesome problem to have... except none of my clothes fit. I don't own a single pair of pants that fit me. Even my leggings and athletic pants are drooping at the crotch.
Oddly enough, all of my winter shoes/boots are too small now. I'm hoping I can still wear some of my summer shoes.
I think @PensiveCrayon is the last one wrapping up December bumps. Pretty sure @Lexibizzel had her baby, if she is the same one on Facebook group. Its ok, remember, overdue babies are smart babies! DD1 was 10 days over due, she is 10 years old now and super smart! It freaks me out sometimes, the things she says. She does math problems in her head that I need pen and paper to do.
DH is at the Seahawks v. Lions playoff game. No biggie. Until I hear this strange clanky noise... a week of freezing temps just made a pipe burst below our house. So I turned the water off to the house, but it won't get fixed until tomorrow. Who really needs water anyway?
Yup, you are correct @yellingbanana, I'm the same one. Baby is here at last. So I guess I'm part of the 1% who go into labor on their own after 41 weeks, lol. If I wasn't already 7cm and some questionable fetal heartrates when I was admitted, I would have given that Dr a piece of my mind!
@yellingbanana I stayed home as long as I could. I didn't want to go there at 2cm, and have them try and push pitocin. Maybe a little too risky because I was only there for 2 hours before I found out I had a son. But the birthing ball really helped bring on contractions at home if you want to try in the future.
@yellingbanana That's what I'm telling myself It's hard to find anything positive in this situation...but I'm trying! I really am! I feel like I deserve a booby prize for being the last one standing. Or a special badge?

Going to pick H up from work, and I am high centered on snow in front of our house. No only am I locked out because H lost his key&stool mine, I don't have a shovel to dig myself out.
