after our son was born we made us a priority and do nightly massages to stay connected. We used to alternate but now I get 3 nights for every one night that I massage him. So amazing!!
He's been so wonderful since I've had this all day nausea. He's been making me breakfast every morning and I think he's cooked dinner every night since the nausea hit.
We had some family and friends over today who do not know that I am pregnant. DH steathily made drinks for me that looked like hard cider but were actually sparkling apple cider mixed with apple juice (for color). They fell for it!

I've been sooo exhausted my DH has been doing all the dog walks/park time. Considering we're in Chicago, it's not always easy to be outside. So, that's been amazing. Usually we switch who takes her to the park, or go together, he's just taking her no question.
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
Mine has been on a TDY for the last week. He has been up for over 30 hours and came home to be the awesome dad that he always is. I'm exhausted so it's very much appreciated!
My husband essentially has been my Manny for the two weeks he had off. I am kinda dreading him going back to work tomorrow. He's done mist if the housework/ childcare since I have constant naseau & morning sickness. I am truly a slacker wife. Bonus:. He even brought me a giant bag of sourpatch kids when he made a milk run the other day.
I like this thread. I chose my DO specifically for his awesome qualities, but I'm seeing a whole new level now. I love it. He always calls when he's heading home from work, but now he also asks if there is anything he can get me on his way home. He sets my vitamins out in the morning, and has taken the dogs out almost everyday since we found out. But my favorite (also I suspect it's slightly selfish as well) is always offering snacks. For example, he's heading out right now to get me a sausage biscuit. I don't even have to ask; he offers! This man is the best!
DH came home from a quick/busy trip out of state (I barely survived alone with my toddler) and has cleaned, done the laundry, played with DS, and is making fajitas tonight. So happy he is home!
First off, can I just say how much more I like this thread than the "a**hole" thread? Love the positive vibes, ladies!
I've always thought my DH was great, but he's really upped his game since my first appt when my pregnancy was confirmed. He makes supper several times a week, helps clean the kitchen, walks the dogs, and has been entertaining his son (my step-son) at night so I can rest on the couch or fall asleep early. This week while I was sick, he was a total sweetheart and took great care of me. Love him!
Im with you @vannilly I love this thread way more than the a**hole thread.
My DH has been so sweet. Every morning we usually walk our dog together, but half the time Im so tired that he lets me sleep in past the alarm and walks the dog himself. Plus yesterday I ran out of breakfast yogurts, so my DH went out last night and bought 4 new kinds for me to try because he knew I liked the drinkable ones, but our store only sells one kind, so he went to a new store, with out me asking!

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
DH took care of laundry and a big pile of dishes last night when I was exhausted. This morning when I left for work he had started my vehicle and scraped all of the snow and ice off of it for me. I love him! ❤
