I'm going to a Breastfeeding support group tomorrow and the lactation specialist on Thursday. I have hung up my pumps and am trying EBF again. It is so much more comfortable than before! All the cracks are gone but I still have vasospasm, which bothered me pumping too. I'm babywearing today so hopefully I can keep myself warm!!

My nipples are still really sore after 4 weeks of breastfeeding. Last night I had shooting pain in one even when not feeding Max (it actually hurt more when I wasn't feeding him, strangely enough) so I made an appt for tomorrow to get checked out for thrush. This morning it felt a little better, and there's no sign of thrush in Max (that I can tell anyway) so I'm thinking it's not thrush, but whatever, still worth it to get checked out I suppose.

Just saw the pedi. He's still losing weight so we need to see an LC like today. Tomorrow at the latest he said. Or else we need to add some formula. Cue mommy tears and guilt that I'm starving my baby.

I have my 6-week follow-up appointment tomorrow morning. I am hoping to hear that everything is good down there and pelvic rest and cardio can be started again. I know DH has been counting down, ha.

L had a weight check today since at 3 days old yesterday he had lost a pound. They had me change to every 2 hours with supplementing after with formula. He was back up today and having wet diapers again. They aren't worried any more and I loved that the doctor told me yesterday not to worry it easy just because he was a big baby and now that my milk was in he should be fine.

Tomorrow we have an appointment with an LC. I just want to have someone check his latch, I don't feel like it's deep enough.

@tinattt23 I totally understand how you feel - we had to do the same thing. It really really sucked hearing that he wasn't gaining weight, and that it was my fault (so to speak). Once your LO starts gaining weight, though, you'll be so happy that he's going in the right direction.

Was able to get an appointment with the LC for tomorrow morning. Until then I'm setting alarms for every two hours on the dot. No more waiting for him to wake up at 3ish hours.

Hugs momma. L's loss was huge (11%) so we had to supplement for 24 hours and up to 2 hour feedings during the day and 3 hours at night. It worked. They are having us supplement every other feeding at this point until tomorrow. I felt the same as you. But know you are doing your best and it will all be okay!

Post op appointment today went well. Bruising on my incision but other than that it's healing well.

Willa has a follow up appointment on Friday... she's been eating like a champ so I'm hoping she's back up to birth weight and then some!

Baby girl had her 2 week visit today and she is "perfect" according to pedi. Gained a pound!

I had my six week appointment today. I'm only up ten pounds from pre-pregnancy. Woo hoo! Everything else check out well and I'm cleared for all activities

Had Willa's weight check appointment today. Her birthweight was 7lbs 15oz, at her appt last Friday she was 7lbs 14oz and today she's a whopping 8lbs 6oz! That would explain the 4-5oz she's been drinking lately!

Weight check today at 2. Super nervous. He was 9oz under birth weight on Friday. Even if all is "fixed" with feeding (which I'm not convinced it is) I doubt he gained 9oz in 5 days. Damn LC being in vacation this week. Doesn't she know I need her help.

8oz gained in 8 days. Still a bit under birth weight but pedi was happy with the direction things are going and does not think we need to supplement. Yay!
