Anyone else have a very active fetus?

in 2nd Trimester

I swear that mine is never calm! There is a party in my uterus at all hours of the day, and, after I am woken-up to pee, sometimes at night. I know it will get better as the kid runs out of real estate in there, but wow--I wish I was having that much fun.

    YES. I felt him or her for the first time a week or two ago, and now it seems constant. At first it was just at night when I'd lie down for bed, but holy crap s/he's a little monkey!

    We have the same due date! And for the last two weeks, I have been feeling movement soo much, especially at night no matter how I lay...I CAN NOT sleep when he's so active.

    I started feeling DC regularly last week, & he/she gets stronger & more active every day it seems. Kept me up a lot the last 2 nights, & I swear today I felt like I was being kicked in the vag.

    My first was VERY active from 14 weeks on. This one, I really didn't start to feel him until about 18 weeks, and he's not super active. He's more of a stretch-and-relax kinda guy. Maybe that means this one'll be a good sleeper. LOL.

    When I went for the NT test the baby was flipping all over, it was more like a monkey than a baby. I couldn't believe it. But I can't feel it yet.

    I do, in fact at every appt. up until now OB has had trouble finding the h/b with the doppler b/c she is moving so much. I'm just starting to feel the movement myself, but I know when it get's stronger I'm in for some sleepless nights :)

    I know how you feel.  She is constantly moving around in there, all hours of the day and night.  Good thing I am a pretty sound sleeper (at least for now) or I would get no rest.  The only way I can get it to stop is to have DH put his hand on my stomach - for some reason she only wants me to feel her not him!

    at our u/s the tech said that we have a hyper little baby. i am feeling our little one more and more but when i saw how much baby moved at the u/s i knew that i'd be feeling more soon because he/she doesn't seem to stop!

    Good to know that there are other women out there who are having parties too! :) H always says "Are you having a pants party?" in reference to Anchorman.
